  • Very compatible with different devices
Style: pencil
--- I've been using the Metapen Stylus Pen M1 for a while now, and honestly, it's been a great tool for both my work and daily life. What I love most is that it's one of the few smart pens that works seamlessly with pretty much any tablet or device. I first used it with my Surface Pro 9, and when I upgraded to the Surface Pro 11, I didn’t have to do anything — the system recognized it instantly. I also use it with my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the experience is just as smooth. Writing feels precise, with no lag, and it's super natural whether I’m jotting down notes or making quick edits while working. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for long writing or content creation sessions. I really appreciate that there’s no need for pairing or extra apps it just works. For the price, the quality you get is impressive. If you’re looking for something practical, compatible, and reliable, this stylus is definitely worth it. ... show more

  • Works great with my Kobo Libra Colour
Style: pencil
I'm always hesitant to get third party accessories--particularly styluses (styli?). I've tried several for my reMarkable Paper Pro and none of them work. Not wanting to pay for the more expensive OEM stylus, and not wanting to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive I decided to give this one a shot. Turns out it works perfectly with my Kobo Libra Colour. Charges quickly, feels great in hand and the battery lasts for ever. Solid accessory at a nice value price. Recommended! ... show more

  • Good Pen for the Surface Pro 11
Style: pencil
Works very well with the Surface Pro 11. Great build quality for the price. Only real downside is that it only connects magnetic at both points on the bottom of the Surface, typically where the keyboard would be when it is connected. Not the biggest deal in the world but something to note. It is fairly accurate, I haven't had many issues with it tracking. The design is nice even though it is a bit big so it can become uncomfortable to hold. Ultimately I'd say it's worth it if you want a pen that works well with the Surface Pro 11. ... show more

  • Budget Stylus That Punches WAY Above Its Price
Style: pencil
Alright, I’ll admit it—I wasn’t expecting much. Stylus pens outside of official Surface gear usually fall into two categories: "barely works" or "kinda okay but dies in a week." But the etapen M1? This thing came in like a dark horse and actually delivers. I paired it with a Surface Pro 7 and a Surface Go 2, and it synced instantly—no weird button combos, no lag, and no awkward calibration drift. It supports full pressure sensitivity, palm rejection, and tilt support—which means whether you’re sketching, annotating, or just trying to take notes without using your finger like a caveman, you’re covered. The build quality is surprisingly premium. It feels closer to the Surface Slim Pen than any off-brand knockoff I’ve used. The matte finish gives you grip without feeling chalky, and the pen tip glides smoothly on the Surface screen without any jitter. What I Like: Instant compatibility with Microsoft Surface line—no Bluetooth pairing needed Palm rejection actually works, which is a huge win for note-taking and sketching USB-C charging = no AAAA battery scavenger hunts Magnetic snap-on to the Surface (depending on model) is a nice touch Comes with replacement nibs and charges stupid fast What Could Be Better: No eraser end—there’s a button for that, but muscle memory had me flipping it like a pencil Doesn’t integrate with Surface Pen settings app (but honestly? I didn’t miss it) If you’re doing ultra-fine digital art, you might want something with more tilt nuance—but for everything else? Killer. ... show more

  • Wouldn’t recommend
Style: pencil
The media could not be loaded. To be fair, you get what you pay for with this pen. If you’re not using this for drawing, it probably wouldn’t be so bad. However, if you are using this for art, I could not in good conscience recommend this pen. It will randomly stop pulling any lines and pick back up in the same stroke, meaning you have to either erase the whole stroke altogether, or fill in the blanks. Additionally, after only having this pen for about two months, the side button panel just completely fell off. I’ll have to tape it back on if I want to keep the inner mechanisms from being damaged (not that I really even use the side buttons since they’re pre-programmed, and can’t be changed anyway.). Overall, don’t buy this pen if you intend to use it for art, or really even for note taking. ... show more
