  • Completely met expectations
Shed was delivered quickly. All parts were there. This is an inexpensive shed option, much less than half the cost of a resin shed, and a mere fraction of a pre-fab wood shed. I spent a weekend building a level and square wood platform. I would NOT recommend building this without a level and pre-prepared surface. The actual shed building took my wife and I about 7.5 hours of pretty consistent work to get it done. It’s time consuming and tedious, but not difficult. I should add we are regular DIY’ers and have put together other outdoor structures and lots of furniture. The quality is exactly what I expected and the assembly was also. Overall completely met expectations and seems sturdy. ... show more

  • Seems like a quality shed.
Metal sheds must be assembled, and this one is no exception, however, despite at first considering the assembly manual to be lacking, I was wrong and the information is all there as long as you are willing to look for it. It was delivered today and we began assembly after lunch and I was pleasantly impressed by the way the screw holes lined up. By the end of the day we had finished the base and the walls. If the door and roof go on as neatly as the walls went, I hope to be finished tomorrow. We are 2 capable but old men working together. It could be assembled in one day if you start earlier than we did, but I would call it at least a 6 hour job if you work steady. Not difficult, but there are a LOT of parts to put together with a LOT of screws. Edit one day later: Finished the build today. As we got closer to completion, some of the screw holes became difficult to line up. I'm going to take the blame because it went so smoothly up to then, we failed to check the structure for square and I suspect that may have been the reason for the difficulty. I mean it looked perfect but if you don't measure an inch or two out and you get misaligned holes. We managed but it made it harder than it had to be. A tedious chore to build, but not hard for two men. It would be very difficult for one. The parts were all clearly labeled with the rare miscue. The pictures were pretty clear, but it would have been nice to have some clear text guidance for some of the tricky parts. There were several instances where we had to undo and redo assemblies. ... show more

  • Keep it square during install!
So far, quality seems good. Does not appear to be leaking. I will agree that the assembly can be difficult when the frame goes off-square. We had the four bottom corners anchored to our concrete pad, and the top frame did not stay square. We wound up having to adjust in order to install the roof. Other than that, the installation went fairly quick. The holes all line up when square. Fits perfectly on the pre-existing pad we had from previous shed. I’d say it’s a good value compared to the price of a wooden or resin shed. ... show more

  • Bought two of these sheds by myself. Pro's and Con's detailed. Read this review for tips!
I bought and built 2 of these sheds. I gave it 3 stars and here's why. Pro's: 1- Good precision. Holes line up well. 2- I was able to build them both by myself. 3- They are very sturdy once completed. 4- Good value given the price. Con's and advice: 1- Some of the panels were slightly dented on one of them. 2- Almost every piece is covered in a thin plastic covering that must be removed before assembly. This is NOT in the instructions, but all the research I did say it must be removed. It took as long to remove the plastic covering as it did to build the shed. About 6 hours of peeling super thin stretchy plastic that easily tears as you try to remove it. Drove me crazy frankly. 3- The little wrench they supply to tighten the nuts for the middle of the panels barely works. I used a nut driver which was way easier. Pro Tips: 1- Get a 1" pipe about two feet long and use it to peel the plastic off the side panels. I started by peeling the plastic at the top of the panel and then wrapping it around the pipe and the rolling the pipe along the length of the panel peeling as you go. 2- Get a pair of level 5 cut resistant gloves to handle the parts. Much better that the gloves provided with the shed. 3- Make sure the foundation of the shed its square and level. I can't stress this enough. If the bottom rails don't sit Level and Flat on the ground, the whole shed may not be buildable and holes won't line up. Also make SURE the foundation rails are perfectly square. Measure the diagonals and make sure they are the same length! I built mine on a concrete slab and still had to measure the diagonals. 4- If you build it on the ground (dirt or grass), be sure to raise it up enough so rain doesn't get under the foundation rails. I had to use a caulk to seal the bottom of the shed to the concrete because water migrated under the rails into the inside of the shed. 5- When assembling the side and roof panels, always remember to screw the center holes and tighten the nuts after each panel. You won't be able to reach around to install them if you forget. This is where I used the nut driver to make them tight. 6- Get a roll of gorilla or duct tape to hold parts in place while you're getting the screws ready. This is important if your working alone. 7- When installing the first set of panels at the corners get four chairs to hold them up while you install the top rails. They are barely held in place by the bottom screws and can fall over and bend. 8- Don't overtighten the screws! It's very easy to strip ot the small holes by overtightening. 9 As you assemble the panels on the roof, do the middle screw and nuts first. Otherwise the holes may not line up and it's a tricky place to work reaching over the top of the panel to get the screw lined up with the hole. ... show more
