  • Decent shed for the price.
Is this a great shed? No. It's decent at best. We got it as a shelter for our goats, which it will hopefully accomplish. The overall "sturdiness" of it comes from the panels themselves and not the frame, which I'm not a fan of. There's a step where you'll have to put these runners along the ridge of the roof to direct rain water on to the roof panels instead of through the gap between the panels. I am at a loss on how I'm going to get screws into the middle pieces. I simply can't reach them. With a "normal" building, the roof would support my weight and I could simply crawl over to them. I don't trust this thing to lean on, much less set foot on the roof. The base is awful. Do not attempt to build this on a windy day. There's no place to secure the base frame to whatever it is you're putting it on. We had to drill holes and use long construction screws to secure to our wood base. The frame pieces and panels are thin and easy to bend. When it arrived, the packaging was so awful that the corners of everything are bent, but could easily be somewhat bent back with my fingers. It does go together fairly easily. The holes line up, but the instructions aren't super great. There are missed steps and parts that are supposed to go in but aren't mentioned in the guide. Do yourself a favor and get a cheap divider box (like a tackle box) to separate all your parts and keep them organized. The manual doesn't mention this, but use the plastic washers everywhere there's a screw. There's enough, and supposedly they help "waterproof" the shed. I can't attest to that just yet, but i plan to go back around and put a dallop of silicone on the screw heads and on the points where they're protruding inside the shed to further..."waterproof" it. Another tip is when starting the upper roof frame. The guide has you build it first then plop it in. Don't do that - just build within the 4 corner panels you put up in the previous step. The frame pieces are again very flimsy and only held together by a cheap plastic joint piece. We constantly had issues with the walls flexing in and out while building. We waited to secure it to the foundation until it was complete for fear of the screw holes not lining up. We elected to leave the doors off for now as we don't have a need for them since this is an animal shelter. Ours was built mostly with 1 person, though I can see how having a second person available would be helpful. Overall...it's a 10x12 shed for less than $600. For securing valuables or even expensive tools or lawnmower, I wouldn't. But as a shade source and shelter from the elements for our goats, it fits the bill. EDIT: Seller reached out and was very sympathetic to my review. They discussed my grievances and offered solutions I found to be more than fair. For the customer service aspect, I'm increasing the rating to 4 stars. And no, the seller did not once ask me to revise my review. I simply am impressed by their diligence and desire to please their customers. ... show more

  • Junk!
Horrible instructions. Seems like cheap quality, and you have to bend some of the metal yourself. I’d buy the extra and get another plastic shed before buying something like this junk again.

  • Dissapponted
Not happy. Tiny screws extremely difficult to work with. Had a professional contractor help me. Even he was frustrated. Constructed a concrete base for it to sit on. Then it got windy. Even with concrete screws holding the corners down, it flexed the sides enough so that two plastic connectors broke. I had to fabricate a metal brace to hold the pieces together. Then I added several concrete anchors to the flimsy aluminum base for stability. Looks good now. Had to put a real door latch in to give it real security. Hopefully I will be able to now use it without any more major issues. ... show more

  • Great Shed and Value, Tricky to Install
Really solid shed overall with a great size and great value, purchased the big 10x12. When screwed down onto a solid wood foundation (you have to drill most mounting holes yourself), no movement even with 50+ mph wind. The big double door is a plus and there's plenty of headroom so moving even big stuff in and out is very easy. Tons of extra screws included which is really nice as they are really tiny and very easy to lose track of. Installation was tricky, took us about 2 full days but you could probably cut that in half in more ideal circumstances. The instructions are pretty clear though there were a few big challenges. The first was that the shed's size measurements are not quite accurate. I built a wood foundation for it according to the product specs but upon laying out the shed base, the shed turned out about 6 inches longer and 3 inches thinner than the listed specs (kind of my bad for not checking before ordering the wood). Additionally, with the larger size, the shed moved a ton with even a little bit of wind. Assembling the walls is a major pain. Essentially they are entirely unsupported until you start the roof. I needed about 3 extra helpers to stand around and keep the walls from blowing over. Lastly the instructions for assembling the roof supports and doors is lacking, pretty much only having a diagram of the parts and no clear step by step instruction like everything else. Also, if you're in a hot or cold climate (Arizona for us), invest in some fans for heat or a heater for cold. Whatever the temp is outside, it's that + or - 15 it feels. ... show more

  • Not all parts line up
Had to modify on the installation, theirs must have been inside where there was no wind, plus it has been raining and the roof does leak even with their plastic washers, so will use some flex seal to stop that. Plus first time I have ever put left and right side pieces on the same side. Other wise am happy do far with it, even though I had to drill my own holes for screws due to it would not line up. ... show more
