Very easy to assemble, the packaging makes it super heavy having everything in 1 buggie, but once removed the pieces a pretty light. Mine came packaged very well, it was easy to follow the instructions and assemble, I store heavy items in this and have had no issues whatsoever. I like to use magnet tape and put it on the edges where the doors meet when closed, this helps keep them shut as I don't use the locks and my floor is not level. For the price, I don't have any issues whatsoever, I believe it to be a great buy, sturdy, and it just works. ... show more

I bought 2 of these. 1 of them was barely damaged, light dents. The usual with light metal. On the packaging it says container may be damaged but contents are safe. Someone hit the packaging so hard it ripped the box, the cardboard protectors, and severely dented the outer shell of my brand new cabinet. These cabinets are for garage use so I'm not gonna bother with asking for a refund or a return because it's not worth the hassle of returning. I think the big label that says carton may be damaged but contents are safe needs to be re worded saying "handle with care, thin sheet metal inside that dents easily" Overall the shipping was a day earlier than expected. It was well handled up to my doorway and placed with care. The product itself is very easy to assemble and is exactly what I needed. I'll give it 4 stars because I know it's not the manufacturers fault for poor handling of the package during transit. ... show more

Extremely easy to assemble. But one of the doors was damaged and I did not want to return the whole thing and the box was destroyed. I wish I could just get the replacement of the bad door only

Took a while to assemble. The instructions are not clear at some points. I found a massive scratch on one of the sides even though the item was in packaging with styrofoam. It’s not super heavy duty but does the job for my small office.

Nice storage cabinet when assembled. Assembly isn't "hard" but some of the screws take some torque to get seated firmly. That is by design. Didn't have the space to use a cordless drill so it came down to sheer grunt on the handle of a screwdriver. I like that there are magnets to hold the doors closed with out the need to keep it locked. And the adjustable shelves are a nice bonus. Would recommend. ... show more

As with many assembly-required items these days, sometimes the assembly instructions can be lacking. I bought 2 of these cabinets and soldiered through the first one in about 2 hours. The panels are labeled with A through G letters, but with only one small black and white diagram and no 3-D views or angles, I had to make some guesses that sometimes I had to reverse. The hardware seemed to do the job, but I simply could not find 3-4 of the screw holes that were supposed to be there. The unit still seems to be fully supported despite this. There was also one clear spot where the sequence of putting in the screw needs to be done in a certain way and is difficult to reverse once done. I mentioned I bought 2 of these cabinets ... all my frustration from unit #1 helped me assemble unit #2 very quickly, maybe 30 minutes vs 2 hours for the first. I would also note that with both units there were some bent corners and edges (photos attached of a couple of these). Despite these bends the unit still assembled and seems to be fine. A pair of pliers and some padding and these bends can be rectified. The units both came very well packaged with particleboard and foam. I'm not sure how the panels were bent ... it must have occurred at the factory before packaging. I wanted tall cabinets and so far the doors work and lock and the units are serving their purpose. ... show more
