It does not crack like the others with having a big dog. Easy to clean if there is a puke mess. Exactly what we needed. Our 6mo old Corgi is a terror and chews everything. He quickly went through his dog bed and then the plastic tray on the bottom of his kennel. Looked at buying a replacement but why spend $30 knowing you'll likely need to replace again? This SS one is well built, and actually fits even better then the OEM one. I recently purchased this tray to replace the plastic tray that came with the “Top Paw” crate. My dog has severe separation anxiety so he destroyed the previous plastic tray. I was looking for a sturdy replacement because he drools, chews, and scratches when he stressed. I had to order the largest size to fit the crate 41”x27.38”x1”. Thankfully I did not need to order a custom size, which is offered if the standard options do not fit. The tray arrived two days after it was purchased. There was one minor dent on the raised edge from shipping, but the product was still functional. The tray itself is 11 pounds. This did add a significant amount of weight to the overall crate. It has made it more difficult to maneuver, but that is one minor downside. After using the tray for 1 month, my dog has not been able to chew it or put a single scratch mark in it. Every day I come home and I need to clean up his drool and urine from the crate. Not only is it EASY to clean, but there are no signs of rust either! Also, because of the 1-inch lip around the tray, there is no mess that escapes outside of the crate to clean. The plastic tray took me at least 15 minutes to wipe down and clean all the hair out. It now only takes me 5 minutes to clean the new on! If you like to save yourself time cleaning after your pup, I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

Works great for the Great Dane crate. Our girl's a chewer & she'd have chewed the plastic tray. For those who complain it turns their dog gray, you need to buy the stainless steel; not the galvanized tray, as that's why the dog is turning gray. Won't do that w/the stainless tray.
