Strong, sturdy and easy to assemble… My son is 16 years old and a giant. He is 265 lbs. 6’2” and not easy on beds or sofas he sit down hard. Kinda plops down. We have had issues with him breaking beds and excessive squeaking. None of that has occurred with this bed. We’ve had it for months now and no issues. It’s been great! no squeaking when he rolls around at night, no buckling we do have it on a carpet up against the wall so I don’t know if it would slide otherwise, but we have both been very pleased with it.. He is autistic and is super sensitive to certain sounds and feels and I have had no complaints from him whatsoever. :)

Got these for my 6 and 4 year olds and wow, I’ve tried the flimsy zinus one & I am so glad I returned that to invest in this heavy duty one! Super sturdy and great amount of storage! Directions were super simple and easy! I did by myself. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: We are big fans of "riding low" versus our old sky-high mattress. The height is perfect for riding low and storage. I placed storage zipper bags underneath with all our storage. While these are not firm bags and stable like our former plastic ones, I did not want our old ones scratching up the nice new bed frame. So, it is working out regardless. The frame is sturdy and handles my wife's 102 pounds plus my 185 pounds and the new king (Eastern) hybrid mattress of approximately 180 pounds. It handles these 467 pounds just fine and feels very stable. Of course we are not falling into bed, dive bombing it or jumping on it like teenagers. The REVIEW: I was directed to frames like this by a trustworthy mattress salesman. He said people on a budget tend to opt for these versus traditional box springs. I especially was drawn to the LOW profile and MODERN aesthetics. Be careful during assembly with the mini ratchet tool. If you do not line up the bolts well when you hand tighten them in place you may strip one or two when trying to ratchet tighten them. They are not the greatest quality of steel so be aware. Fortunately, they include a secondary hex key type tool in case the ratchet tool fails you. QUALITY of the matte black powder coated frame is around an A-. There are a few minor imperfections, but they are unlikely to ever be noticed. The VALUE is good and especially good if you catch it on sale. SIZE is perfect for my (Eastern) KING mattress. I used to write procedure manuals on a job, and this is not the best. It is all about visuals without words basically. As a result, it caters to visual learners more than readers. Thankfully they label the parts well, so it really is not tough even for a less talented assembler like me. AESTHETICS is very solid here and I love that it is matte. Ideally, I would rather have a matte silver or matte charcoal gray, but it is nice regardless. The low-profile look makes our ceilings look even higher and I like sleeping lower to the ground. The DURABILITY feels and seems solid overall. I did have the wife assist me to slide the bed into place carefully because those edge stoppers are plastic. There are other plastic parts which I was less thrilled about for my 182 pounds and the wife's 102 pounds I think we are good. Our new mattress arrives soon, and I cannot wait to experience a hybrid on this new frame.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. It doesn’t hold hardly any weight, especially not the amount of weight it advertised. It’s not stable and the support beams bent and broke after one month. It’s unreliable and extremely unsupportive. There’s now a giant hole in the frame where all of the support bars have broken. We’re not sure what to do about the now broken frame. We feel extremely scammed by how different our experience has been based on the description and advertisement of the product. It’s been an extreme waste of money that we could barely afford in the first place. I do NOT recommend this product whatsoever and highly advise you to spend your money on another product. This has been an awful experience and we’re now out of money we didn’t have to spend and don’t have a frame for our bed.
