  • Happy, Happy, with the Purchase.
I bought two to cover my permanent site camper with a roof. Constructed them together to make 40ft which gave me enough room to park my golf cart under a roof too. Absolutely happy with the whole idea that I thought would work. I needed more height and it was no problem extending the legs to accomplish this with 4x4's supporting/anchored to it. I believe I could have bought 2 inch square steel tubing locally and accomplished the same thing. I am totally pleased with the quality of the trusses as it was mentioned heavy duty and I'm confident will do the job intended this winter with snow accumulations. Other camper residents were impressed with the cost effectiveness and quality. Just bought two more to do my next door neighbor's camper the same way. Will do another review with pics when completing this next project hopefully before winter. Assembly is easy if you can read, maybe somewhat labor intense but worth it. Boxes are heavy for sure as it comes in 7 containers around 125 lbs each. Two people is recommended especially to help move trusses after assembled. Delivery was flawless and quick. Hope this helps. • Excellent but.....
I have purchased two of these now one is functioning as intended as a carport and it works just fine. The other one I placed it over the door of my house and turn it into a covered porch and put a sliding glass door on the end of it. The one big complaint that I have about this item is that the grooves in the metal roofing run the lengthwise of the shed as opposed to having the tin roof go from the peak out to the edges of the carport so what happens is is that in the case of me putting one on my house the installation was a little off and that was tilted back toward the house of the water was pooling up because the grooves are running lengthwise instead of width wise. But I have my contractor come out and he put some flashing up against the house and then we put more metal roof over the original metal roof and had to have it going the opposite direction meaning it's the grooves are running from the peak of the carport out to the edges and now the rain just runs right off. Other than that this thing is very sturdy the frame is very strong and if you live in a windy area you will have to anchor it down somehow what I did for anchoring was I dropped t post fence posts by each leg pounded those into the ground and then I wired the structure support legs to the fence post and this thing is going nowhere. Like I said I do recommend this purchase I've ordered two of them and there's a chance I might order a third ... show more

  • Outstanding car port!
Style: 20x26 FT
This thin is awesome! The seller provided excellent support and answers to engineering questions which greatly aided my installation. I took a little more time to solid weld all joints and bolts. I also welded on some casters just in case I ever need to move it in the future. The sealant tape that came with it works pretty good. Be careful that it doesn't touch itself because it likes to adhere to itself which will cause waste. I was thinking about supplementing the tape with some sort of caulk but didn't end up needing it. The day after I finished we got our first good snow and man did this thing hold up nicely! ... show more

  • Take note
Style: 20x20 FT
This carport is a very well built and the instructions are clear. Having said that here are my thoughts. I am not sure if this is cost effective but the packaging has to be changed. All of these boxes weigh about 80 to 100 lbs. Every single box that I received was destroyed. Last thing to note, all of the boxes are labeled 1 of 7, 2 of 7 so on and so forth. I received 8. Items A1 A2 and A3 came to me in the 8th box. Not sure why. All said and done, no missing parts, very well built, easy to follow instructions and very good customer service. ... show more

  • Rai. leaks
It's nice and sturdy. You will need an 8 ft A folding ladder and 2 people. It's rather involved installing the roof. However, it leaks when it rains. The sheet metal panel channels run horizontally where the water collects and drips through the seams (although, I did not install the sticky tape). It really should have been designed with the panel channels running vertically up and down for the water to run downward. Now, I am looking to install another roof on top of this roof. It will require planing since it is not sturdy or safe enough to climb on the roof. I'm thinking of tying down a tarp temporarily. Might eventually install polycarbonate panels. Had I predicted this, I would have just built the carport with treated lumber. ... show more

  • Quick Lawn tractor shead
This carport is very strong. I assembled it according to the instructions and put wood walls on the sides and doors on the ends. This was a quick build for my lawn vac and tractor parking.

  • A fabulous value!
This is the best Carport for the money! Setup was pretty easy - it does take 2 people! material thickness for the frame is fabulous! I would suggest the supplier send a few extra bolts & nuts and more self tappers for the sheeting. Overall, a fantastic value! It looks great! Holds 2 vehicles easily! I am delighted!! Thank you! ... show more
