  • Easy to assemble. Excellent value. Great purchase. Easy to assemble. Excellent value. Great purchase.
Style: 10x15 FT
Excellent carport. Easy to assemble. Clear instructions. Carport is very solid and stable. Kit includes everything you need to build, including a few drill bits, nut driver bits, concrete anchors if you are anchoring in concrete, long heavy duty nails if you're not anchoring in concrete. We did have to get the replacement roof panels, but they were fast customer service and delivered same week. This is a much better deal than you can get at any box store and the carport is just as high of quality. I have mine anchored pretty well. It is pretty heavy for the price. Count on two to install, especially when lifting to install the vertical legs after roofing - it may even take three for this step if you aren't particularly strong. My wife and I lifted a side and then I held it while she installed the legs for that side. Then we repeated for the other side. Installed braces, anchored, done, nice. I did caulk the roof panels, instead of using the roof tape, as we installed the roof, just as an extra leak measure. Very happy with the purchase and considering buying another. ... show more

  • Good deal for the money
Style: 10x15 FT
Great deal for the price. I put most of it together by myself. Only needed my wife's help to put the legs in when I lifted up the top. My Chevy Express van 2500 could use another 5 feet of roof cover. But I'm happy with it and recommend it for those who need a quick and easy cover for your vehicle

  • Good value for the price. Instructions are misleading.
Style: 10x15 FT
Although this canopy is lightweight I am impressed with it's structural engineering. Understand that this is a $400 building and I believe you would be happy with it. Yes the steel, both the frame and roofing panels, are not heavy duty but acceptable for the price. I was happy to find that bolts are used to construct the frame instead of screws. This is a much stronger connection and the ability to disassemble without losing structural integrity if you need to take apart a section. Assembly is fairly straightforward though the instructions leave a bit to be desired, hence for the 4-star rating. Barely any descriptive instructions, only pictures, which works for most of the build but leaves room for interpretation as I found out. In fact some of the pictures are misleading which resulted in me having the side panels longer than supposed to be and leaving a lip on the edge that required me to screw down the overlap edge on the last panel. No huge deal but this led to me having to purchase additional screws because there are no extra provided with the package. I also recommend adding a bead of clear silicone caulk along each overlap of roofing if you want a true waterproof seal. The rubber tape provided will only stop so much leaking and depends on perfect placement on each panel. I'm glad I considered this before assembly. The ground anchors provided are basically useless. You need to provide your own source of anchoring if you will install in any windy area. I considered this as well and anchored to concrete blocks filled with concrete and spiral anchors drilled into the ground. The weakest connection is the base plates but if anchored to the ground sufficiently this shouldn't be a problem. Overall I'm happy with this canopy and is better than expected. Similar structures of higher quality would cost 10x more so I'm content for the price. Last note; directions state to assemble the entire roof structure and then lift to put on the legs. This was not an option for me as I assembled by myself. You will need several others to help if constructing like the directions advise. I completely assembled the frame and put on metal roofing last. This allowed me to construct by myself but will require ladder work. Also remember to have a flat, level surface to construct on if you want the canopy to shed water correctly. ... show more

  • They should include free floats with purchase!!!
Style: 20x20 FT (Reinforced)
The ONLY reason this gets one star (instead of none!) is because it didn’t collapse on my car this winter with the snowfall. Another reviewer said it perfectly, IT LEAKS LIKE A STRAINER!! So far there has been no amount of sealant able to stop the hellacious amount of leaks this thing has!! I bought this to get rid of the “canopy/tarp” style carport & here I am about spread another $120 dang tarp OVER my metal carport to stop it from saturating EVERYTHING UNDER THE ROOF!!! My shipment was missing multiple hardware, customer service is nonexistent, no video instructions, there’s ABSOLUTELY NOTHING heavy duty about this carport! DO NOT BUY!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!! ... show more

  • Good value
Style: 10x15 FT
This is a decent carport. Good value for the price. None of the reviews I read mentioned the dimensions of the frame. This is constructed with 1-1/8" x 1-5/8" framing pieces. Many other carports are made with 2" x 2" framing, which clearly would be stronger. However, this unit has bracing and cross bracing that others do not have. The roofing sheet metal is also thinner than other carports I've bought. That shouldn't make too much of a difference except for longevity. There were plenty of roofing screws and, as others have mentioned, the predrilled holes in the roofing sheets often do not line up with the predrilled holes in the frame. We had it pretty square, but still ... If you follow their instructions and attach the roof to the upper part of the frame BEFORE lifting it to attach the up-posts, you will need at least one other (strong) person. Two extra people would be ideal. If you're looking for a low-cost carport that will protect from the sun, this will work for you. As for rain, I will find out tomorrow! ... show more

  • Good quality bad service and shipping
Style: 20x12 FT
Receive the boxes and when opening discovered the hardware was missing. One box had a small hole, but to small for a big hardware box to fall out. Notified the seller and was asked to validate the weights of each box (using the weight tag). Didn’t know what a weight tag was and did see more than 20 stickers on the 3 boxes. Photos them all and sent. Was told 3 days to get hardware. Then was asked to list all missing parts. Hardware was missing, but I had to specify, 120 of this, 100 of that, etc. then was told it would be 5 days. Finally they confirmed box weights indicated hardware weight was missing. Back and forth over 12 days and finally the missing hardware shipping information was available. Fedex indicated unable to read label, went to a detail review to determine where to send. Finally, 16 days, hardware arrive. Packing was terrible. Box was torn, ripped.. lucky nothing missing. Quality is good, once I assembled I was pleased with the item. Item alone I would rate 5. Quality to price, a 5. Shipping- forget it. Terrible. Replacement parts shipped from overseas, hence long time to arrive. It would have been at least a little better if the response to ship time was accurate, 3 days would be impossible. ... show more

  • Slope Front to Rear Slope Front to Rear
Style: 20x20 FT (Reinforced)
I gave this 20ftX20ft carport five stars due to the outstanding customer support offered by the vendor. The product itself is adequate, stable and a good value, but in my experience careful positioning, and a precise footing is required. I had multiple leaks until I assembled it on a footing that was perfectly flat and sloped to the rear about four inches, to ensure the water would not pond on the roof. As with any roof, starting on the downslope end (rear in my case) and making sure the overlapping sheets spill off onto the next lower sheet. Since you must start at the peak and work down each side, it's important to tuck the edge of successive sheets under the prior installed sheet. The company sent me extra silicone sealant, but I used butyl tape. The butyl will work great if it is installed when it's warm. With two people working together, it took three hours to assemble the frame, 4 hours to remove the plastic film from each and every roof panel (frustrating process but using a piece of PVC as a roller and scoring the edges helped a lot), and five ours to install the sheets and finish the job. ... show more

  • Will blow away!!! Will blow away!!!
Style: 10x15 FT
Assembly was difficult enough - screws didn’t align with the holes (had to drill new ones), tediously peeling the plastic off of every single panel (they don’t come off easy!). Once it was installed and perfectly wedged between my house and the neighbors fence, the stakes provided were put into the ground. I never thought this would literally blow away! I live in San Antonio we aren’t exactly getting great winds here like Chicago or other places in the Midwest. When the wind hits this thing just right it acts like a parasail. If you’re thinking of getting this because it’s a cheap option do not bother. Take your money elsewhere this was not worth it. ... show more
