Bought 2 10x20 and they arrived faster than expected. Everything was there and in good shape. The inventory/instructions were in box #3. The screws that come with it are self tapping and do not need to be pre drilled which was unexpected, they even provided a magnetic 8mm hex bit for the screws. Assembled everything in one day by myself, just had my wife help with attaching the arches to the base. Make sure you are putting the right pieces together as it is not easy to get them separated again. Once I have finished leveling the frame I will put on the roofing. I will update when done. Ok, the most important part is getting the ridge cap lined up centered on all the arches and do it in rows not columns. There is plenty of over hang on both ends 3 7/8 - 4 inch so don’t stress too much about the end arches being perfect. Once all together the front to back sway is very small but the side to side is more than I would like so I will be adding some tension cables in both directions; I’ll add photos.     • Pretty nice little carport, watch out during building as the edges of the panels are quite sharp!
Don't get me wrong - it is pretty good I think, for the price. I assembled it over the course of about three days, probably about ten hours total time actually doing the work. It would have gone faster if i knew a few things on the from end: First: There are three boxes. the boxes are actually labeled that one should expect four - but there are only three. I was going to call their customer service but had no idea what to use for an order number as nothing i tried worked. Second: the little about 5 inch long section joiners need to be labeled with a half-way point so you can tell when you have it tapped in to the right depth. The little joiners need to be beveled if you have access to a grinder to allow them to slip into the tubes more easily. Slipping them into the tubes wasn't always an easy thing to do so even with a little beveling done so I used some WD-40 to aid it the slipping in and also just froze a number of them (yeah, put them in the freezer and took them out as needed) as once they were contracted they did go in easier. Some of the powder coat spray went into the tubes so that was something to be overcome. The directions were slightly flawed in that the roofing panels are not all 5.31 feet long - some are right about five feet even I would guess - the shorter ones go on the middle two segments so there was that short confusion to overcome. And if i had it to do over I would have put a line on the underside of the panels to help in aligning them to the frame as they have a tendency to slew a bit. All in all i am happy with it so far, hopefully it will hold up over time. ... show more
