Bought along with the 60T finishing blade and have been very happy. The saw is light enough to move around, has all the things you need to secure it though. Minor complaints: - The angle indicator for the bevel appears to be off a little, when I calibrated I'm definitely not directly on 0 - The clamp comes down from the top which applies more pressure to the table than it does to keeping the workpiece to the fence. I haven't really played with other tools but watching videos where the clamp came from the front seems like it'd be more convenient. - The dust collection doesn't appear to be great, and when I've got my wet/dry connected (which I needed a flexible pipe coupling to accomplish) I don't think it's actually pulling that much more dust than when I just use the bag. But for a beginner I really can't complain much and the quality of the cuts seems decent! ... show more

I recently purchased this miter saw, I needed the saw to help me with building a new deck! Man what a difference this tool made! I have always wanted a miter saw, and I am so happy I bought this brand. I suspected that I would have to do some adjustment to the miter saw when I got it, but not in this case! It was on point for straight and miter angel cuts! and I made sure to check everything! This was ready to go out of the box! I am not saying you shouldn't check your angels and make sure that its align before using! but wow! Just amazing how well this tool is! It is worth the money. As a beginning DIYer, this saw hits the sweet spot of value and features for me in my little basement shop. Smooth action, quick cuts, etc. I screwed it onto a plank of fiber board for a base, and it is light and easy to move into place on the work bench. One minor gripe is that the clamp to hold your wood while sawing gets in the way if you want to lock the saw down for storage. It's annoying to take that clamp on and off every time the saw comes out, but it's not a huge deal. Overall, I'm really glad I bought this and would highly recommend. ... show more

I have had my miter saw for two weeks even though my delivery status says delayed. (Amazon should include a button that the customer can hit to let them know it arrived). I was excited when I opened the box. Everything was in tact. My only problem was the blade had a few broken teeth. I wasn't expecting a top notch blade but I did expect to get a few cuts out of it. Unit arrived in almost perfect condition and works well. Unfortunately it appeared to have been squared up against a tooth on the blade, so the overall 90 degree cut was slightly off. Very nice saw with the quality I needed but not at an exorbitant price. Used it to make 2 largish frames - the 45° cuts were right on. It has notches to ensure that the most commonly used preset angles are exactly maintained and cut. Cheaper ones do not have this feature. When releasing the shipping fasteners, please note that the Clamp Lever at the back is a right handed thread, so loosen it in a clockwise direction. ... show more

It took a while to figure out what was up with my angles ...why they were off....and I then borrow a square from our neighbor. Come to be, a 45 degree angle needs to be set at 46. Okay, maybe I can adjust that but haven't gotten that far yet.
