Metabo HPT (once Hitachi) got me into their ecosystem with good prices and battery deals and now I'm enjoying the extras. Decent tools. Overall, I'd say that their stuff is as good or better than Ryobi. Some of the old rebadged Hitachi products like their nailers are true winners in their category though. All brands have their winners and their losers. I also own M-12 series stuff but this is a cheaper 18v line. Making a good flashlight for $40 shouldn't be hard and I think this one will last a while. It's my first power tool flashlight and I'm really appreciating the form factor, movable head, brightness. It's already covered in jobsite cement, etc muck and feels like a trusty war veteran after a few months of hard use. ... show more
