These grinders seem quieter than others, I really like the safety clutch when using cut off wheels.

    • Worth the money
I try to select the higher quality tool when one is needed. Beware.......there are Metabo grinders that are not manufactured in Germany, have lesser amperage, are geared differently, and are not as heavy duty. This model is worth the added cost in my opinion.

I bought this as a smaller compliment to my bigger 6” metabo grinder and it works great. The safety clutch has saved me a few times using wire brush cup wheels. Plenty of power to do any job.
