Been able to wear it for a few days now and I must say I do love how snug and supported I feel in it. I did go down a size to a small considering there isnt much boning. I was looking for a waist trainer like my columbian fajas one piece. I wanted something simpliar for the daytime. I ordered three different ones, which were of extreme quality but thick and did not stretch. They all went back. I ordered this one and I thought this might work. Well today I did some work with my plants and repotting etc. I have a bad back and afterwards my back was killing me. I relaxed for a bit but I knew that I needed to be on the computer for school so I decided to put this on. OMG it feels so good. I have a 34" waist so I ordered a large. It comes right up underneath the breasts and down the lower back about two inches were the buttocks line is. Let me tell you the fabric is soft, flexible yet holds you in and supports (my back) stomach etc. It has, not sure if it is metal or what, one on ech side and one in the back, flexible but supportive. I love that it has the hooks but it also has a few hooks to pull the zipper portion together, which pulls you in even more with extra support in the tummy.     • Too long for my short torso

The material is sturdy and the compression is pretty good, along with pretty decent back support. My only thing is the length. I’m 5’1 and 150lbs and this is longer than my mid section. As a result, this is extremely uncomfortable and actually a bit painful to wear. The wires actually dig into my back and just under the armpits because it’s too long. Not only that, it really gives me an unflattering look with everything pouring over. It rolls easily at the top and doesn’t really blend at my hips (my love handles stick out so bad). Everything just seems to be “pouring” out of the ends. I was hoping for something to at least blend in, but it makes it noticeable that I have a girdle on due to the seepage. I’m just feeling a bit torn because the quality is great, but the length is too much for me. I guess that’s just short girl problems. I recommend sizing down one size to get enough compression since it’s not super snug. If you’re taller, it may not be an issue for it to go too high on the top or needing to go too low on the bottom. I just can’t seem to find the happy medium for my torso unfortunately to prevent it from rolling so much. I will be returning. ... show more

I was a little sceptical about ordering a medium due to the reviews but I'm glad I did, I'm 5'1 and 145. I'm currently in a weight loss, so I'm sure I'll be ordering a size down soon enough and I will definitely be going with this one! It fits perfectly. It is soft fabric and easy to put on, it really does snatch in your waist, and looks amazing.
