Tired of my regular sneakers getting trashed during weekend yard work led me to grab these as a dedicated outdoor pair. They’ve been getting plenty of use mowing, edging, and doing general projects around my nearly acre property. The slip on design is exactly what I wanted, no laces getting caught on grass or coming undone in the middle of a job, and I can kick them off at the back door without leaning over to untie anything. The all black look hides dirt and grass stains pretty well so they still look presentable even after a sweaty afternoon outside. Sizing wise heads up, they run a bit larger than expected. I usually wear a size 12 and these are noticeably loose on my foot, not so much that they fall off but enough that I’d reccomend going down half a size if your between sizes. With thicker socks the fit is better but with regular socks theres some sliding around inside. The full coverage of the upper does a good job of keeping grass clippings, dirt, and small debris out of my shoes which was a constant annoyance with low cut sneakers. The cushioning underfoot is comfortable enough for a few hours of yard work without my feet getting sore. The arch support insole gives a noticeable lift and I can tell my feet are more supported than in basic flat insoles. The non slip soles handle wet grass and damp soil well, no sliding around even on slopes when the ground is soft. Cleaning has been easy, just hose them off and let them dry on the porch. They dry faster than I expected and dont hold onto smells. A few things worth mentioning though, the loose fit issue I mentioned is something to plan for when ordering. The ventilation holes let in some grass clippings during heavy mowing so be aware of that. The sole is firm which is great for stability but less cushy than dedicated walking shoes for long sessions. For dedicated yard work shoes that protect your feet without being heavy boots, these are a useful pickup and I’d reccomend them with the size note in mind. ... show more

I don't work in a the medical or food service fields, I ordered these based on my daughters feedback regarding ALL-DAY comfort while working at the hospital. I wear these around the house, which includes outside and in the garage. Most recently, I completed the yearly outside window washing while wearing them, replaced a couple rear wheel bearings in one of our cars, and changed the oil. I find them very comfortable, and appreciate the removable insert, whihc makes washing them a breeze. I just remove the insole, spray them with the hose, and hang them on the fence. Comfort: They slip on and off easily, have enough arch support "for me" and the insole is more comforatable and supportive than some high-end tennis shoes I wear. If you use an orthodic, the removeable insoles is a nice feature. Safety: Nonslip is a nice feature, although I haven't tested them in this manner. Having been tested to ASTM standards though, I'm sure they're better than similar clogs which simply state "nonslip". Size: I ordered a 1/2 size down because I knew thy'd run large; realistically, I could have gone down a full size, and still had room for winter socks. Longevity: The soles of the shoes are made from a stiffer material than the clog itself, and it's much stiffer than the typical sneaker. While I've only had them for a week, I'm certain they'll last a long time. Value: This is brand whihc has been around for quite some time. I have purchsed many HiTec products, from 1/4 zip tops to hiking boots. The quality is always on par with the big name brands but the price is always much better, which makes them a better value. This clog is no different. The cheap chinese brands are a similar price, without the ASTM protocol, removable insole, and arch support. These work style clogs are very straightforward but get the job done really well. The material is lightweight, feels durable, and is easy to clean, which makes them perfect for kitchen use, work, or just wearing around the house. The outsole has good traction and feels stable on smooth surfaces, which I really appreciate. Inside, the insole offers nice cushioning and support. It’s not a high end orthopedic feel, but it’s definitely comfortable enough to wear for hours without any issues. The design is simple and clean, which makes them easy to pair with anything. One thing to keep in mind is the fit. They run a bit roomy, and since there are no half sizes, if you’re between sizes they may feel slightly loose. These clogs are incredibly comfy and hit the mark for being lightweight, resistant to getting dirty and feel decent enough for lounging around the house in. I personally don't really use these clogs for outdoor use as the material is a tad bit on the thinner side but have a good support sole at the bottom. These have the same material you'd find in Crocs, but with a thinner less structure holding profile. The only real caveat is the sizing is a bit off and does run on the larger side so beware of that before purchasing. It's not egregious enough to warrant a return but maybe sizing down one might be a safe approach. Overall I'd say these are a decent pick for daily lounge shoes or going out on a short trip with that you want some comfort in but, not for any activities that require something with reinforcement.
