Works as stated. I like it and will keep it but I’m removing 1 star for the following reasons. I liked the idea of a digital monitor but this thing is BRIGHT. It’s like having a lamp on. I have to cover the display at night in order to sleep. No way to dim the display. The remote control is useless unless you memorize the buttons because it is not illuminated. You can hold it over top of the very bright display but that defeats the purpose of having a remote because you could just use the buttons on the machine itself if your hand is already there. I expected it to be thicker than a regular heated mattress pad however I didn’t expect it to change how the bed felt as much as it did. You don’t really notice you are sleeping on tubes but the pillow top mattress is not as softy as it was. Not an issue with the design itself. Just be aware your pillow top will be a lot stiffer than it was. ... show more

The MERRY HOME Water Heated is the newer version, it uses less watts, water, heats more efficiency. With the manual I have it on a smart switch, to turn it off, on, you have to heat the mattress an hour early before crawling in. We have it under another topper. When you lay on it, you pick up more heat then you think this is producing just feeling under the sheets. Just check under the weight of your pillow, so that temperature you set has to factor this in. In fact a trick is to lay the pillows lengthwise that will heat up the top of the mattress during the hour warm up as if you were in bed. This is mostly due to the extra topper, it is pretty thick. The dial could use more range spacing, it is rather compressed, so finding the temperature is somewhat a guess, is it 95, or 92? Its hard to read the temperature dial, without a flashlight. I think I would have rather gotten the lowest digital model, just for the lighted digital display. I don't think we would use the Sleep mode on that model, as it gets the bed to a predetermine setting you can't change, for an hour, then goes to what you set it at. I guess this would be nice to preheat the top of the bed and covers? But I can't image sleeping for an hour using that, under that heat until it clicked down to your setting. It is great to crawl into a warm bed, just wished it wasn't so expensive for the digital model.Yes, it works under another soft thick mattress topper. The weight of the water seems to keep it in place on the bed. We like it. ... show more

So far so good. I had a traditional electric one before and I like this one more. It’s very quiet. I’d recommend and purchase again. Hopefully it will last. Will update if it doesn’t.

This mattress pad does not cool. Yes, the description states that it will adjust the temperature of the water from 50-149 degrees. This is INACCURATE. I have been running the pad at various times of the day adjusting the time I turn it on to prepare for bed. I’ve tried an hour prior to bed up to 3 hours. The overall room temperature is approximately 10 degrees cooler than the read out display on the main unit. The lowest temperature I have been successfully to get was 82 degrees. This photo was the read out after I had woken up and it ran through the night. I would not recommend this product for cooling purposes. ... show more

I thought this would be a low-cost option for heating my bed. I connected it up like the instructions said and added water until it quit beeping (I could see it pump the water through the plastic lines). The warming up light would never come on no matter how hot I set the thermostat and it never did warm up the bed. ... show more

Warms in minutes without overheating. Best part, no emf’s and it’s so very quiet. I just love having my bed warmed up when I jump in. No more moving a tiny heating pad around from my feet to my knees, just to defrost and relax for sleep. I warm up and it doesn’t affect my husband who runs warm.

I got this for my kids so they can sleep together during the winter. It was better than I expected. It is very thin and you feel every water lines on your back when you lay down on it. So we put a blanket over it and its a bit better. Warm and easy to install. Perfect for winter.
