my niece already paints and is very creative, so this kit is very complimentary to her growing collection. she has never painted on canvas with an easel (she's nine by the way) so this is going to be a very professional set up. the assortment of paints has a nice selection and she's already pretty good with blending tones to get the color she needs, so it's good there aren't too many colors included. the brushes are exciting too, so far she hasn't experimented with things like the fan brush or the more exact tools, so she'll get to learn at her own pace using these. it also comes with a paint pad too, which she uses flat canvas paper mostly, as she does "folding art" and makes rorshakt (sp?) abstract paintings as her main commisions (yes, her work is coveted in our family and she takes requests regularly) so i'm pretty pleased with this little kit. definitely a great value for what's included

Wow! This is a really big set of acrylic art supplies ! There is everything that one needs to start painting included . It’s all packaged very nicely so would make a wonderful gift for anyone wanting to try their hand at acrylic painting . I am not a terribly experienced acrylic artist , but I do know that I much prefer artist tubes of acrylic paints to those little bottles available in most stores. The quality of the tubes is much better for painting on canvas. This set has a nice selection of the most used colors and there is a mixing chart included so that from this set many other colors and shades of paint can be mixed. I like the canvas pad to practice with, though the canvas pad paper is suitable for framing . There is also a stretched canvas and several canvas boards included . Nice! The tabletop easel really takes this set to the next level. It’s sturdy enough to use for painting or displaying one’s artwork . The set of brushes that are included are of a very nice quality . . The mixing tray is a good size and easily washed out . All in all this is a really nice set . I’m very pleased with it . My young neighbor girl 11 came up today and we tried out the paints and supplies . She is Amish and we do some painting together occasionally . We both did the same painting and hers came out very nice so I included it in my review. The paints were wonderful as were the brushes . Very good product . Would recommend !

Got it for my 8 years old girl. I help her set it up and let her do her thing. Good clear mixing instructions. With a bit of experience, you can mix the color to about the color that you really want. Everything included, plenty of extra's for more practice and paintings. You just need to set up a painting space, fold and put down an old bed sheet, just in case (depending on your artist). Depending on how things go, you may even cut up the bed sheet and get extra paintings out of it. Great full set. Great price for what you get. I recently went to an exhibition, some local artist. Paintings for 2-3 thousand $$ per piece. Nothing special. Some colors, some squares, some circles. My girl exclaimed, "Really, that is way to expensive., I can do that". We'll see, we'll see. Highly recommended this set.

This is a good set for the price. The paints are decent quality, and it's great how many canvases and other items are included. I like the canvases and canvas pad. The palette and brushes are kind of cheap and I probably won't use them. Same with the little table top easel, but it is nice to have if you don't have a larger one. Everything is decent quality for a beginner, though, and it's a good value for everything you're getting.

The colors are great. Very vibrant I love that this comes with everything that's needed, just open and begin. I've only begun exploring acrylic paints, but these are smooth and the brushes seem to be made of great quality materials. Having somewhere to display my finished painting is definitely a plus. The canvas pad is great, the different size canvas is also great. So excited to begin using this set more! You get a lot for the price!

This set is a complete package- paints, canvas, holder, and more. The package was larger than I thought and so I was pleasantly surprised at the value that I received. The paints and set up are for beginners, but this is a great way to get started on a new journey. There's more than enough paint for this set, so if you are looking for a way to spark an interest in a child, this is it. Looking forward to seeing my granddaughter's face when she opens it up and starts painting!

This acrylic paint set is perfect for so many reasons. First of all it contains everything a beginner (regardless of age) will need to introduce themselves to this paint media. One can use either the stretched canvas or the canvas panels (2 included). The canvases are a standard 8" x 10" each. There is an easel of the appropriate size for the included canvases. Once finished with one's art piece, it can be displayed on the easel if one chooses. Twelve acrylic paints of 12 ml (about a half ounce I think) are included. These are the basic colors one needs to start painting. The colors can be mixed to make other colors. To help accomplish that a color mixing wheel is included. Seven brushes are included in the basic starter sizes. If one continues painting, many other sizes can be added but for a starter or practice set the brushes included are the perfect size for any beginner. A personal reason I like this kit is that it is a good size to throw into a canvas tote and haul it to paint with my grandson when I visit. He is painting in grade school so he is not entirely a novice. For $19 at the time of this review, this set will sent a child or a beginner over the moon. It is so worth the price and will be a wonder to use. Highly recommended.
