This is an excellent hiking boot for me. Most hiking boots are too rigid and don’t allow me to move the way I want. This provides great cushion, traction/grip on the ground and allows for both flexibility but also stability in my ankle.

    • Great walking/Hiking boot
Size: 10.5 Color: Spice
Theses Merrell’s are very comfortable. This will be my second pair. I have been a Merrell fan for years. I’m type 2 and weigh 255, so I’m hard on shoes but am cautious about soles and footbeds. A hard sole is more difficult on my feet. So this boot has a more flexible sole that is extremely comfortable. There’s not a thing wrong with the pair I currently have and I’ve not had a single issue with them. The only complaint I could possibly register has to do with the laces. The laces much be made of a product that seems to keep the from binding when you tie them. They often come loose, which can be annoying. However they’re so durable I hate to complain. I just retie them and move on. I have Moab’s as well, but this design seems to be my go to now. Love them on terrain, everyday walking, and I’m a teacher so I wear them as pseudo casual dress shoes with khakis or any other pants and they match fine. I have to say if this pair is as good as the ones I’ve had for a year, I would rate them a 9,99 out of a 10. ... show more

Beautiful boots, would have loved to wear them. Unfortunately, THEY ARE WOMEN'S boots, so are too small. I don't know if this is true of all colors offered, several reviews say they are great boots. At any rate, the Marron/BURLWOOD (reddish tan) are sized for women. Either Amazon or Merrell needs to fix this error. All of the negative reviews complain of the same thing. ... show more
