The media could not be loaded. This is another beautiful coloring book by Christian Art Publishers. The book is filled with 58 lovely designs (licensed by Shutterstock) with verses (and cites) from the Book of Proverbs. This is the book I look to for day to day lessons on what is expected from each of us. Sometimes the lesson is easy and sometimes it is hard to take. But it is always right. The book is very well made and has many of the points that I look for in coloring books. While the images are licensed, they have been reworked to be used with the Bible quotes. Out of the 58 designs, only one is familiar to me as one that I have colored previously. There are 58 large designs plus 11 bookmark and card sizes, too. While the pages are perforated, you will have to cut the bookmark/cards out of the page in order to use for their intended purpose. There are no cutting lines. The Bible translations used for the verses are: Holy Bible, New International Version NIV, Holy Bible, New Living Translation, Holy Bible, Contemporary English Version, and Holy Bible, English Standard Version. This is what I experienced while coloring in this book and testing my coloring medium on the paper: 58 Designs with Inspiring Life Lesson from the Book of Proverbs with bonus 11 bookmark/cards size designs Printed one side of the page Paper is heavyweight, white, somewhat smooth and perforated Sewn Binding Some Designs merge past the perforations and into the binding area. If you remove designs at the perforations, you will not lose elements essential to the designs. Book can be opened fairly flat for coloring but you must use a lot of pressure to break the spine. Alcohol-based markers bleed through the page. I suggest use of a blotter page if you use this type of marker. It will keep ink from seeping through to the design below. I use card stock as my blotter but a couple of pages of heavyweight paper work well, too. Of course, you can always remove your pages from the book prior to coloring. Water-based markers, gel pens, and India Ink pens do not bleed through the page. Some gel pens require additional drying time. Colored pencils work well with this paper. Though it is somewhat smooth, it still has enough tooth for good pigment, layering, and blending. I tested both oil and wax based pencils with good results. ... show more

I loved everything about this coloring book! It would make a great gift or to keep for yourself. I was very pleased with the condition in which it arrived. The thickness of the pages is very nice so there isn't a need to worry about them tearing. I do not color with markers so I don't know if there is bleed through or not. If I ever use markers, I will update my post. The variety of the pictures is really great and the pictures themselves are beautiful! The proverbs are always inspiring, instructional and peaceful for me. It is great to have these verses that are so neatly put together all in one book to color! It is a very good time for quiet refection with the Lord and for daily devotions ✝️🙌 I would definitely buy this for my loved ones and I strongly encourage you to buy this, especially if you are looking for that extra boost of confidence and a "hug" from above ☺️ I pray that this book is as much of a blessing for you as it is for me! 🙏❤️ ... show more

Our church is going through the book of Proverbs in the Bible. A lovely young girl recently gave me a beautiful flower bouquet from her mom’s garden. Her mom is a professional flower grower and they were simply gorgeous. I want to say thank you for such a kind gesture that was a true blessing since the past few weeks have had some difficult moments. This book was perfect for this occasion and to encourage a young tender girl to keep hiding God’s Word in her heart. A great resource to buy often and give away. Very nice quality paper. Beautiful pages to color. Enjoyed this coloring book so I purchased My favorite KJV verses to color as well. The pictures in KJV are ok I don't like the way the verses are in the middle of each page in the KJV coloring book. But I do like most of the designs in the KJV and spoiled from the great quality of the paper used in these coloring books. Very disappointed when I purchase a book with cheap paper so these Christian coloring books from Christian Art will be the books I stick with because I don't want to be disappointed like some of the other buyers on here who spend money and find the paper quality is terrible.     • Beautiful coloring book with perforated pages!

This is a wonderful way to get into the scripture. I love that the pages are perforated so that you can tear them out easily. I also really liked the color, cut and share pages in the back of the book. I'm always needing a book mark and these pages are perfect for that. The only thing about the book that I found difficult for me is the size of some of the coloring area. Some of it is very tiny, and difficult to see. All in all, a great coloring book. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Such an awesome, high quality book especially for the price ($5). It even has color and cut out book marks in the back. Nice thick pages. There is also a good variety of both complex, detailed pages and simpler, easier to complete pages. The Bible verses are a beautiful addition a and a great concept to add to the design. I personally really appreciate that because when I was searching for adult coloring books, often the top results were swear word or similarly inappropriate coloring books to promote "stress relief." Well that is not stress relieving to me or what I want my mind to be meditating on unlike this book which is amazing! The only con is that I wish the pages tore out just a bit easier but if you are gentle and don't rush it, you can make it happen without tearing the page. ... show more
