Meridian Beds seem to have a bed reputation with some, but I'm glad I gave this bed a try. The headboard is gorgeous and I love how tall it is. I purposely wanted a taller headboard so it wouldn't be half way covered up by the mattress and pillows. The color is listed as pink, but it's more like a mauve or dusty purple. I've seen this stated by other reviewers prior to ordering, and it was actually the reason I decided to go for it because I didn't really want a light pink. The material feels so nice and soft, and by the looks of it, easy to clean if needed. I followed the advise of a few other reviewers of Miridian Beds, and I bought a 2" metal bunkie board to put on top of the slats for more stability and I'm glad I did because the plastic brackets provided, seem kind of weak. Also, the slats don't seem as sturdy. However, I chose to still give it 5 stars because the bed is just simply gorgeous!!! ... show more

The bed is NOT pink, but it is a beautiful mauve color. I still gave it 5 stars because I knew the color would be off based on the previous reviews. The assembly process was simple enough. With one person it takes a little longer but it is not impossible to put it together alone. The support slats that come with it are a bit different than the usual flat ones with simple screws. They are slightly curved and have these annoying plastic black pieces that you have to clamp into the rails. Also there is this weird space at the end of the bed which allows you to see the floor. I’m not sure if this is because of my mattress or if it is just the way the frame is made. Either way it’s not a big problem because your bedding should cover it. All in all the bed frame is BEAUTIFUL and well worth the price and annoying little assembly quarks. ... show more

I hate the smell. I've been trying to get rid of 6he awful smell from the packaging. The bed is beautiful; love the acrylic footings. I just can't get rid of the smell. It's very sturdy and it was a little difficult to put together, but we figured it out and it went fast. The price was good.

So I will get straight to the point ! If you are on the fence Buy it!!! It was super easy to put together and it is a beautiful bed . Sturdy as well. I’m really glad I decided to go for it . I wanted it to be high so adding my boxspring was just what I needed

    • we paid top dollar for this bed and it simply fell apart with regular use. I am very disappointed.

I really like this bed. I’m writing a review because there weren’t many reviews for this one. I added pictures with the box spring (too high) and without. I decided to go without it because I like it low and your able to see the height of the headboard more. My onlyyyy concern is the slats while putting together are very thin so I was worried that as soon as me any my boyfriend laid on the bed it would break. But it’s been ok so far. It does make a lot of noise when you move around on it or jump to sit on it. Makes you think it’s not sturdy but so far so good. ... show more

The exact color I wanted. I was nervous because no one posted any pictures and there are really no reviews. I used a box spring, although it says it isn’t required. It was too low for me with just my mattress. Overall, I like this bed so far. I’ll update after I’ve had it for a while. Edit: six months laters and the bed is still holding up. I ended up taking the box spring off and I still like the height. Also, yes, it is sturdy :) ... show more
