It is fluffy. Used for feet out of the bed, and will not slide. All good, and is almost too fluffy- a bit hairy like, but I kind of love / hate it. I’ll probably buy again. It is not a bad problem to have a rug that is too fluffy by the bed.

I have enjoyed this rug for about 6 months. I added some carpet padding to the back which helped with thickness. If you have children or pets do Not buy. The fibers, all be it soft and shaggy, is impossible to clean. Vacuum is not able to remove crumbs or pet fur from carpet. Everything gets stuck in it. This is a very very very soft rug not traditional shag. Exact color as the picture a deep emerald green. We laid it over a carpeted room so it stays in place, but it would slide on a hard surface. It's got the same backing as those cheap bathroom rugs from SHEIN. The kids love it though!
