Took about 3 hours of steady work for 2 adults to get this done. Easiest and fastest way is to have an Allen wrench bit on a screwdriver handle, rather than using the Allen wrench that is supplied. This is for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it. My 3 year old does too. They love the desk area to do their ‘makeup’ and I am in the process of putting bins on the shelves for their toys. Some negatives - the ladder is pretty difficult to get up and down versus a standard bunk ladder that has a better angle. A few damaged boards from shipping but luckily they were ones in the back that didn’t show. Some boards were not labeled so it took awhile to decipher which board was for each step. Nonetheless the kids love it and my daughter is actually sleeping in her own room now! 😅 ... show more

Things solid for sure! Do not hesitate to buy this if you’re thinking about it. The shelves are deep and have good height to them. The desk is spacious can definitely fit your laptop and a whole lot more. Underneath has more than enough space to move around and set up however you want it! The only problems with this was the included instructions, or lack there of.. it’s all illustrations with not one word describing anything, thankfully it was quite easy to understand. No pre drilled holes to attach the slats that hold the mattress, they don’t inform you that you should probably have a drill, which I did not and hand tightening these screws was pretty rough. All in all I’m more than happy with the purchase, my daughter(11) absolutely loves it and couldn’t be happier.. took about 4 hours of setting up, by myself(I did mess up and had to backtrack about an hour) ... show more

Overall, I do think this is a good value for the money, it’s nice and sturdy, and it was easy to put together. Sadly, the paint job was awful. Actually, it appears to only be primed…badly. I will have to paint the whole thing which is disappointing.

I bought this for my 11-year-old son it’s pretty sturdy. It doesn’t make much squeaky noise and it was pretty easy to put together. That being said, the bookshelf is pretty much useless. It’s too short to fit anything other than a book. I wish I would’ve purchased something Other than this one. $490 is a lot of money to not really be able to put a lamp or knickknacks or a video gaming console On the bookshelf.it’s just a ladder to get up. ... show more

I love the bed. But had some issues with the shipping, in the end the cutomer service has gone out of their way to make it right and I applaud any company willing to work that hard for their customers. The bed ships in 2 boxes. 1 box was damaged by the shipper and was sent back. Customer service was responsive, but it still took longer than I would have liked to recieve the second box, but like I said customer service has been in contact to make things right. Make sure you order the right color the first time because they might not be able to change the order once it's placed. I like the bed. And although I was a little frustrated by the shipping issues, I would happily recommend this bed and company to anyone looking for a quality bed frame that's very solid if put together correctly. ... show more
