We just purchased this bed for our 6 year old and 3 year old. Very happy with it so far but it has only been a few days of having it. I’ll give you a list of pros and a couple cons (which didn’t not make me lower the review stars just annoying nit picky things). This bed came in two big boxes. Pretty heavy. I had been searching for bunk beds for awhile trying to find a sturdy but affordable bed. I am so glad I found this one. Pros: The item came within 4 days of ordering. It was very well packaged and no damage to any of the pieces. Had all pieces and were not missing any. It only took about 3 hours to assemble. One person can assemble until you need to put the top bunk on top of the bottom bunk. An adult can sit up in bottom bunk and not hit their head. Each bed can hold 400lbs. It looks nice and it is very sturdy. Cons: The directions do not have words. There are some spots where there are no pre drilled holes. It was number 9 on the directions where you put pieces 22 on the bottom of the bottom bunk for the drawers to not slide back too far. It ended up fine. I just used a screw gun and put them evening on the bottom. Also when you put the slats down there are no pre drilled holes. Again, I just used a screw gun and evenly placed the slats! The last thing I would say is that the stairs are pretty steep. It’s not super easy to get up and down like when there are slanted stairs. But my 3 year old can do it you just have to take your time. The cons were not enough to give less than 5 stars. Overall, if you are looking for a bunk bed, give this one a try! My boys love it so far!!

Great bunk bed! Easily built. Comfortable height, especially with the full size bunk on the bottom. I live in a manufactured home, where the ceilings are just 7ft (not 8). So I was aware that an adult would not be able to sit up on the top bunk. But this bed was the only one that would fit comfortably in my mobile home.

The quality of this bunk bed is pretty amazing. It came in two large boxes that were really heavy but that's because it was good solid wood. Despite the fact that it came in many pieces, the instructions were easy to follow and it didn't take long to assemble at all.

The instructions aren't very clear because there are no words, just pictures. It took my husband and me 8 hours to put together. One of the holes was drilled at an angle, and we couldn't put in the screw. The drawers are not deep enough. Other than these shortcomings, we like the look of the bed, and it is very sturdy. Good value for the money.

Took my husband quiet a while to assemble (4 ish hours) but so sturdy, perfect height and so cute for my 2 and 5 year old. More expensive than a lot of the options you see, well worth the price! I also love the rolling drawers since the kids are using them. They will last longer than the drawers on tracks!

Okay it’s getting 3 stars because I have two larger 6 & 9 yo old boys and this thing is pretty sturdy. I was a little hesitant because the only thing holding the top bed frame on is a metal dowel in each post but it feels pretty secure. It lost two stars because for one the instructions are insane, I’m completely fine with having picture instructions but there was all kinds of squiggly lines showing you where to put the bolts and that made it really confusing, not to mention each step included like 6 other steps so their “12 step” instruction book was like 50. They lost another star because half of the predrilled holes were on the wrong side of the board then they were supposed to be on and yes we thought we needed to flip some things around but if you flip them then the wood dowel and bolt couldn’t go in. Another thing, the did not pre drill holes for the slats or the metal hooks on the ladder, we ended up splitting the ladder a little bit and decided to pre drill all the holes for the slats which took an additional 10-15 but altogether it was pretty easy with the two of us and took us about two hours altogether.

Very easy setup and extremely nice for the price. The build still seems sturdy after use. Only criticism is I wish there was a bar on the underside to keep the drawers straight. My kids keep constantly pulling them out completely and they are always where they shouldn't be.
