Pros - fairly straightforward, lots of solid wood pieces, and a good number of attachment points Cons - still a little rickety after put together, some of the pieces did not line up well, and there were extras of some screws and not enough of others in the provided hardware pack. Once assembled, hard to maneuver into place without stressing the legs, and can't be easily broken into moving parts - will have to be almost completely disassembled to move into another room. There's 4 basic pieces to construct, it would be nice if this was designed so the main bed box could be moved independently of the leg/desk structure. The Stairs and bookshelf piece will be easy to separate/move on their own, but the desk and legs are built into the main bed box, meaning it has to be almost completely disassembled to move through a doorway. Also, several of the screw holes were drilled a bit loose, so that the screws would not bite fully, and spin in place when tightened. This means there's a potential for them to come loose. One of the legs had a significant crack in it, but seems sturdy enough to support weight so we didn't think it was worth requesting a replacement. Total time to build was several hours, and some of the instructions had pieces flipped in them that we determined had to be re-oriented for proper assembly (the folding fronts to the staircase cubicles). Several other pieces the drawings were ambiguous on which direction to place the pieces, so we had to guess (fortunately we guessed right).

My 10 yr old son loves this bed! He enjoys the shelving beneath the bed and says he loves how high off the ground he gets to sleep!😄 The assembly took my husband and I about 6 hrs to complete, but all the tools were included and the instructions were clear enough. All in all, this is a solid bed for the price and it’s a good purchase! Very happy!

I bought this bed for my grandson and so pleased with this purchase. I had looked at many different beds on Amazon and finally settled on this one. Ireally like the ladder as it’s flat steps compared to just bars to climb on. My husband put it together by himself without any difficulty.
