Its a great bed but if your toddler is a head banger or kicker, the hollow side and head boards are super loud when hit, but if your child doesn't like to hit himself against stuff its a great bed!

top rail shows ALL screws - not as pictures as solid piece. too bad they did not supply wood plugs to hide all the silver screws. - at least on top rail. (makes it look cheap) back board very thin - cheap material - wish this was a solid piece of wood. probably could easily snap and break if bumped hard. needs at least a 10" mattress - do not get 8" unless you want a large gap all around. but after the work of assembling it - we did keep it - because you don't know final rail issue till end. and we bought a 3 inch mattress topper for new 8" mattress. ... show more

Terrible quality and there’s huge gaps because it isn’t properly sized for a twin bed. I feel like it’s going to break in half from standing on it. And it smells terrible.

This took me about an hour to assemble. Some issues that I ran into: 1. They put two different length screws in the same bag. If you're not paying close enough attention (I wasn't, this will cause problems when you get to the point that you need the longer screws 2. It seems like it needs more slats in order to put them close together 3. It has two cross bars that are finishing trim on the top. The side piece fits perfectly. The slot in the back piece isn't wide enough. To fit over the wood piece that it's covering up. You can still screw it down, but it isn't perfect. For reference: I'm using this as a couch in my living room. I have a 13 inch Nectar mattress on it. ... show more
