    • Not as difficult as others make it out to be
First I received the bed frame a little faster than expected from the window Amazon gave me. Given some of the reviews I opened all three boxes and pulled all the pieces out to layout in the room I assembled the bed frame in. I had one broken piece (rail for the center drawer) which isn't required for the bed frame, so I assembled it. I have contacted the manufacturer and asked for a replacement, we'll see how that goes. *Update - Manufacturer was easy to contact, deal with, and sent me the complete box containing the broken piece. From unboxing to, putting on the Olee Sleep Aquarius Memory Foam Mattresses I bought from Amazon, it took me 5 hours by myself. The only hiccups were a couple of the pieces lost their tags so it took a couple moments of looking at the pieces and the diagram to ensure I had it aligned. The only other frustration for me, was the packaging of some of the fasteners, they put some similar items in the same bag, so it took a double check to ensure I used the right ones. I am very pleased with the sturdiness of the assembled piece, even for as light weight as it is. Once assembled, my 5'2" wife crawled all over the bed making it and testing it before any of the grandkids get to jumping on it. I wanted to test out the mattresses my self, so I stretched out my 5'11" 225lbs on the lower bunks without issues, the silly thing didn't even grown or growl under my weight. Even with the broken piece, which I'll hold out judgement, expecting the supplier to replace, I am happy to have this built and in the room, before the grandkids come to Opa and Lola's during their summer vacations. ... show more

Obviously this is not a pottery barn or crate and barrel kids bed set but I will recommend for those who don't want to break the bank. I will say this......LOL building this bed set got the best of me. Im pretty handy and let me tell you, the instructions aren't that clear so before you tighten any bolts, make sure its on the correct place. What a pain in the &^%% lol. ... show more

honestly the bed is beautiful and it is a great idea for me that i have 2 toddlers to sleep together! but the material is very bad very poor quality! i assembled it and obviously they are not supposed to jump on it with one small jump my toddler weight is 20lbs and when she jump the bed cracked! so i totally do not recommend the wood is not reall wood! ... show more

This bed came in two large boxes. They were packed well and none of the pieces were damaged in transit however one of the trim pieces near one of the windows wasn’t painted all the way. It looks darker and definitely doesn’t match the rest of the painted pieces. Almost EVERY single piece that has a larger pre-drilled hole had to be sanded down to fit properly. That was very annoying and took even longer to assemble the bed. Also these holes are exposed and look tacky once assembled. There should be a plug or cover to hide the hardware. We did not assemble the drawers because we would rather add some plastic storage totes under the bed. My girls are 2 and 3 years old and are able to get into and out of the bed just fine. Once assembled and put together it feels very sturdy. Be mindful of the frames dimensions and be sure to buy the correct size mattress because some are too wide for this frame. This thing is awesome. Only draw back is the packaging. It comes broken alllllll the way down with nothing preassembled. Even if you're an experienced builder, I recommend having some help. Instructions are pretty straightforward too

Perfect for my twin toddlers. I wanted them to be next to each other, but have their own space. One thing I didn't think about was the danger the middle barrier would propose. My girl's play rough and have meltdowns like normal toddlers do. Considering putting a pool noodle over the middle barrier. It's a great bed, but something to think about. ... show more
