I bought this a few months ago for my daughter’s birthday and just got it together a couple of weeks later. I’ve never seen such poorly constructed parts to furniture. Half the screw holes didn’t line up with the boards they needed to be screwed together and we had to make new holes or hope that where something did line up, was enough to hold up the other bars. Luckily, most of those issues were located on decorative pieces instead of base frame. I couldn’t even put the railing on because of this issue though and the drawers don’t even fit into the slots correctly so we’re only able to use one. I will also probably never be able to disassemble it if I have to move it because of the way we had to rig it together. I’ve built lots of furniture bought on Amazon and I’m not usually one to leave a review, good or bad but this experience has been so terrible I don’t want anyone else to spend this kind of money just for a bed that can’t even be put together safely

Ultimately, the long and short of this is that I wouldn’t buy this again. I’m not unsatisfied, but I’m not satisfied either. I was really excited for this loft bed, and spent weeks looking and a lot of research trying to find a loft bed that had the features we needed and fell within our budget. Ultimately, this was the bed we chose. It definitely was a 2 person assembly job. It was annoying to put together, but we knew it would be, and it took a good 3-4 hours (which we also expected). Overall, not too bad for assembly. Tip: get a bunch of small bowls or cups and some masking tape and label them based on the bag labels for all the screws and bolts. Then empty each one into its own cup. It makes for easy grabbing of what you need during assembly without forgetting which screw or bolt is which number. Once it was put together, my heart sank a bit and I was disappointed, it just wasn’t what I expected - mostly aesthetically. 1. The drawer unit is separate and slides in after is is built, meaning the whole bed is standing on 4 not-so-thick posts and it’s not as stable as I expected. If the drawer unit was part of the end unit it would help stabilize the bed much better and it would wobble as much. 2. All the screw holes are on the front of the surfaces. I completely expected to see screw holes, that’s not the issues per se. But there are screws on the top of the desk surface and on the front faces of the drawers making them not practical and somewhat ugly. Now when writing or doing homework, a hard surface will have to be used so that she doesn’t have to worry about writing down into the hole and tearing through the paper. 3. The bed is not as stable as expected. All lofts and bunks wobble a bit, but over the last 3 months of use it was loosened and wobbled a bit more. It says it hold up to 300lbs, which means it would hold both me and my daughter together, but I do not feel comfortable climbing up there to read with her at all. 4. The drawers are not well made. There is only one slide in the middle and unless you pull both knobs evenly at the same time (and what kids does that) the drawer comes out at an angle and gets stuck. Same with closing it. 5. Not so much a design flaw as there is only so much space underneath, but something to consider when buying. The shelves are not very tall. All of her taller books have to be on their sides because they don’t fit in the shelves, which was disappointing, because the bookshelf was one of the reasons we picked this loft bed. For the price and shipping costs, this loft was not worth the money and I would not buy again. But it’s also not so disappointing or bad/unsafe that it’s worth the hassle of attempting to return it given how large it is and how long it took to put together.

This loft bed is extremely low quality. The boards split easily during assembly, the holes don’t line up, after assembly some of the boards are twisted. This is truly the worst thing I’ve purchased on amazon. The worst part is I paid a lot for shipping and have to pay the same to return this item so we are stuck with this pile of garbage.
