the bed itself is amazing. it looks good, it’s easy to lift, and it can fit a lot under it. the assembly is pretty bad. most parts come unlabeled and the instructions don’t have any words, just pictures. i took another reviewer’s advice to be really careful about making sure pieces are the correct way/placed correctly before assembly, and i still had to take things apart and put them together another way. trial and error is going to happen, as they noted. it took me and another person ~4.5 hrs to assemble once all was said and done. don’t let the assembly discourage you from buying it, just be mentally prepared when the time comes. would also highly recommend using a socket wrench for the nuts and bolts rather than the tiny little wrench they give you.

I like the bed. I assembled it by myself and it took several hours but I got it done. It’s a little rickety and squeaky. But it looks nice and I like the softness of the headboard. But the main reason I chose this bed was for the underneath storage to keep my shoes. And it’s kind of a pain getting in and out of there because it’s quite heavy to lift. Maybe it’s the Weight of my specific mattress so that’s something to consider before purchasing.

The instructions included were simplistic and somewhat easy to follow. There were some points in the building of the bed where we need two people to proceed. Ex) holding the nut with a wrench while the other screws with the allen wrench. Took approximately 1.5 hrs including a couple of setbacks. The finished product is great so that's where most of the rating comes from.

The media could not be loaded. I’ll start with the good stuff. This bed was a great purchase for what I needed. I moved into a smaller bedroom so I knew storage and walking space would be limited - I wanted a bed like this for both of those reasons and to reduce clutter. It’s super easy to lift the mattress up and pull back down. Also thanks to the way it’s built, it stays propped up until you pull it back down. Good design there. There’s also a lot of space underneath to store things and I like that none of it is visible. Aesthetically, I love the look and the fabric of the frame/headboard is very nice. Now the bad stuff, which really is only one thing…but an important one: assembling the bed. About 90% of the items were not labeled (fine, I can decipher the picture). Sometimes the pictures were difficult to understand (fine, I can make an educated guess). The wrench included was crap (…we can make it work…). All this to say, the instructions and assembly process could be WAY better. I had help from one other person and it took us 3 hours, maybe more! Our biggest conundrum was the hydraulic bar (the gas spring thing that helps the bed rise and fall easily). If you have purchased this bed and are about to give up because you’ve gotten to that part, DON’T - all you have to do is place them like the instructions say and push down on top of the frame where those bars are (this will require some force; we were afraid to break it but YouTube told us to do this and it worked). In sum, assembly and the instructions could’ve been much better. However, now that it’s over, I’m very much enjoying this bed.
