It does take two people to assemble the bed. It is very sturdy and my granddaughter said it was comfortable. We did have a little problem with the storage drawers but now know how to keep them straight. Attractive appearance and very reasonably priced.

    • A little tough to put together, only holds 300lbs.
Once we got it put together (that was tough, it would be almost impossible with one person) I think the bed is great. However, it only holds 300lbs total so we ended up using it as a guest bed because 2 normal sized adults cant even get on it together.

This daybed was bought because I was living in an small tiny studio at the time where when you first walk in the apartment all you see is the living room and bedroom. This bedframe worked perfect for my needs at the time! And a definite space saver! I will admit it may take an extra person to put it together as I remember instrucitons weren't really that clear. But overall, I really like this daybed and even now it still serves a purpose after moving out of the studio as even a guest bed for when guests sleep over. I got this because the hubby said he wanted this. It’s a little on the flimsy side if ya ask me! I think it should’ve cost less because of how thin & flimsy it is. The hubby is ok with it, but as for me, I’m not. I’m giving it 3 stars, cause even though I think it’s cheaply made, it is serving its purpose. It's ok for what it is. One of the sides came in splintered but I just put a pillow there and it works just fine. I use it for naps downstairs but so far it's been pretty durable.

The assembly instructions are primarily drawings and are very clear to understand and the daybed is easy to assemble. The daybed is sturdy and all but the side panels are made from quality wood pieces for the frame. The side panels are thin and w pliable pieces, possibly made of engineered wood. The wooden slats provide really great additional support. They can be screwed into place which will help to keep them from moving around. Screws are provided but you will likely prefer to use a drill over a screwdriver. Not all of the slats are the same size and you may need a few tries to make sure that they are centered before screwing in place. It is a twin size bed and will be perfect for naps even for hosting guests. ... show more
