This is a low cost mini-split is not the easiest to install but very close to it. You will need to vacuum the lines for the best install, We only got the 10k btu unit because we have a small space that needed heating or a/c, but not consistently. Our unit is only 115v, which is great for a simple install. The lineset that comes with the lineset is only 10 ft, which doesn’t give you a lot of length but enough to get outside if you are on an exterior wall. Both the lineset and the electrical lines can be lengthened if needed. Just remember if you do, you will need to add R32 to the unit to make up for the extra line. After installing, this unit is working perfectly. We now have heat and air conditioning in a space that never had before, which minimal cost and work to get there. There is barely any noise added to this area, even with the outdoor unit right outside the wall, mounted to the wall to keep it high enough off the ground to not be affected by snow. We haven’t tested the a/c mode as much as heat due to the weather getting cooler but its been nice and warm in the space now, which we usually just had to deal with wearing more clothing not to freeze. ... show more

Shipping was fast, both boxes arrived on the same day, Instructions were easy to follow, Installation was a breeze, make sure you vacuum the lines before releasing the gas through the system, so far I have only tried the A/C and it works perfect, cools my small bedroom in a matter of minutes.

This split-type air conditioner isn't expensive; the installation fee was actually higher than the purchase price. I've been using it for over a week now and it's been great. Since it's cold, I've been using the heating. The 10000BTU model I bought fits perfectly in my room. It heats up quickly, has a strong airflow, and is very quiet when running, so it doesn't disturb my sleep at night. The unit is compact and doesn't take up much space. Replaced my previous mini split after the old inverter failed, and this one has been working well. Installation took a vacuum pump and some patience, but once set up properly, it ran without issues. It is quiet and does a good job heating and cooling my 400 sq ft bedroom. Very patient and thorough in answering questions! Customer service responds quickly as well. Installation is simple. The air conditioner is placed in the room and is indeed very quiet—the noise level is low, and in sleep mode it’s basically silent. I’ve purchased it multiple times.
