Very happy with the shelving unit and the tent. It was fairly easy to put together and is a good size with decent room on each shelf for plants. It’s sturdy and the optional wheels are nice and make moving very easy. I have orchids and other house plants inside with a small heater. The other tools are a bonus, especially the humidity and temp display. One negative are the instructions, really doesn’t tell you how to use the clips with the lights, I just used the long zip ties to fasten the lights to the shelves. The flaw Is that there is no way to keep the light type the same when then timer turns on/off daily. You could have set to the pink light but the next day it just resets back to the regular white light.. really wish they had thought of that and I would Give it 5 stars

Started seedlings in a hydro garden and planned on transferring to something that can accommodate growth. I live in an area that can get very cold so I wanted something that would enable my plants to flourish year round. This was easy to set-up and I would definitely recommend using the zip ties to attach the lights. After some research, I decided on the full spectrum setting. This is the whole kit and caboodle - shelves, lights, timer, humidity sensor AND a soil tester. Great value for the price - my plants are very grateful.

The product works well. Easy to assemble. The humidity and temperature gauge does not work. I have changed the batteries and it worked for about 5 minutes and then nothing.

I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could. It's a nice, all inclusive system. Easy to assemble the shelves. They give you zip ties, twist ties and little screws with the lights but don't tell you what to do with them. I suggest abandoning the screws (no idea what they screw into). The zipties can go through the light clips and attach to the wire shelf. I think the twist ties are to tidy up the wire cords but I didn't bother. Annoying part is that if you want to use the light timer, and not get involved, it will always turn on in full spectrum mode. You need to manually switch to pink lights. Not a big deal I guess. If you are starting seeds in here that require warm soil, I would suggest buying a few heated seed mats and adding them to the shelves. Once I did that and covered the entire shelf with the plastic shroud they give you, it actually heats up in there nicely and encourages things like peppers and eggplants to sprout.

I've been playing around with this grow light plant stand ever since I got it a few days ago. After finally adjusting the shelf heights, I adjusted the light wands. I recommend attaching them with the wire strips instead of the zip ties. Wait until you have the whole light configuration the way you want it permanently before attaching the zip ties or you'll end up having to remove them and wasting a lot like I did. One wand didn't seem bright enough so I installed two wands on one shelf. I researched online, however, and learned that two lights might be too strong so I'm going to keep an eye on my blooming African violets and adjust the lights as needed. I don't want the blooms as close to the light as they are now but I can't lower the shelf or the cord for the lights won't be long enough. For my taller plants I had to remove the top shelf and install one of the light wands vertically. (See picture) The lights will turn on in the pink (red) mode. To change the lighting from red, to white, to full spectrum, press once for the pink/red light then you press it again for the white light and you press it a third time for the white and pink. The white and pink light is full spectrum and that is the best light to use. I removed the clear greenhouse cover. I had hoped it would increase the humidity for my African violets but it's not helping at all. I live in Florida so I certainly don't need to use it to keep my plants warm. The temperature and humidity gauge that it comes with is handy but there's no way to change it from centigrade to Fahrenheit. That doesn't do us a lot of good here in the United States. I had to Google it 😉 So far, I'm loving this plant stand.

I like the shelving unit being metal and on wheels, but the assembly is crap why wouldn't you just have a clip system. also installing the lights is a guessing game. I ended up taping the unit at each joint to be sure it didn't come apart. I would not buy this again knowing what I know now, however I have not returned it as I need to get seeds started right away so I will make it work
