With dimensions of 30 x 20 x 20 inches, this portable still air box is perfect for my mushroom-growing endeavors, especially since I have been using it inside my shed. Assembly and Design First off, the assembly process was incredibly straightforward. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up right out of the box. The materials feel sturdy, and the design is thoughtfully crafted to provide an optimal environment for mycelium. The tent’s size is perfect for those who might be limited on space but still want to delve into mycology. Functionality and Efficiency The main selling point for me was the included LED growing lamp boasting 48 beads. The light quality is great, contributing effectively to the growth of my mushrooms. After using this kit, I've noticed a significant improvement in the vigor and yield of my mushrooms, which speaks to the efficiency of the setup. However, be aware that depending on the strain of mushroom you are cultivating, the LED light may be a little too powerful.     • Great grow tent
I haven’t started growing mushrooms yet, so I can’t attest to how that is going to go, but once I put this together I believe it’s going to work out well. My two previous attempts at growing mushrooms with cheap beginner kits both failed so I wanted to try something larger with a better controlled environment. I am hoping that my third try will be the charm with this tent! This kit was a bit tricky to put together. I found the pieces kept coming apart on me as I was building up after I finished the base. After some frustration I finally decided to double check all the connections with the instructions and just glue them as I went along. I knew this might be risky if I accidentally missed a step but it ended up being a wise decision. It took more time but I was pleased with the end result. The frame ended up being very sturdy due to the glued connections. This allowed me to easily stretch on the outer material without worrying that everything would fall apart. Once completed and after installing the LED light, it looks and feels like a professional growing tent. Right now it’s just sitting on my buffet cabinet where I can admire it until I get the time to educate myself a bit more on growing practices and start my (hopefully) first successful mushroom garden. ... show more

I got this Meonum mycology tent as it offered several features my previous tent did not, along with much more room overall. Assembly was very easy, instructions were easy to follow, and no tools were required. Simply push the frame segments into the connectors as shown, slip the cover over the frame, hang the included LED light, and zip the cover closed. Poles which had multiple segments were joined (along with the appropriate connectors) with elastic cord, making assembly even easier. The cover is heavy gauge and crystal clear, with a black base, and two access ports with drawstring closures to allow access into the enclosure while reducing the risk of contamination. There are also two small ports in the back which allow inserting electrical cords or air tubing into the tent while keeping it sealed from outside air. The LED light is more than adequate for mushroom cultivation, as they require minimal light, however, after turning it on, I realized the light color was definitely in the blue spectrum, which has been shown to offer the most benefit to mushrooms, and provide the best results. This kit has obviously been well thought out in regards to it's intended use, and I'm excited to put it to use. Nice product. ... show more
