The 3mm wetsuit is well made and quite functional, but it does not provide near the warmth of a 5mm wetsuit. My first use was in 60 dergee water on the west coast of Florida three days after Christmas. The air temperature was 45-50. After an hour in the water I was shivering, especially with the low air temperature. My opinion is that I would not use this wetsuit again in any water colder than 65 and expect to stay even moderately warm. Physically the wetsuit is well made.

This was my first experience with a wetsuit. I did a lot of research and took the risk on this one. It was a little thicker than I felt I needed, but it worked great. I actually bought this for snorkeling in Bermuda in late October....the water there felt much cooler than the reported 79 degrees F (I'm cold natured). I was glad I had this wetsuit! I was warm the whole time I snorkeled. It was the most comfortable I've ever been snorkeling! I had sun protection and protection from rocks/debris and of course cold water. For reference: I'm 5'4, 128 lbs, size 34B bra, medium sports bra size; bust: 33.5, waist: 27, hips: 35. I purchased the S/4 size wetsuit and it seemed to work really well for me. It was a little bit of a struggle to get on (but I'm told that should be the case with wetsuits). I did not feel restricted in the water and the suit didn't feel saggy either. It kept the cold water out! After snorkeling I just rinsed it in the shower with water and hung it up to dry. It didn't come with instructions for care. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it. I thought it was a great product for the price.

The fit of this wet suit was good. 5’7” 155# size large long fit great. However, the fabric is very thin. After one wearing to play in the lake there were “holes” in the butt and both knees. He has had wetsuits before for the same activities (water skiing, and swimming and playing around rocks in the lake) and never before had holes in his suit. Very disappointed in the quality of this wet suit. It is thin and fragile not durable.

I purchased this for open water swimming in lakes, which it works great for. I recently went on a Canyoneering trip wearing it while repelling and landing in pools of water. I was a bit worried about tearing the suit on rocks but it help up well with no problems.

I'm glad I ordered one size bigger, it fits just right. A little snug in the armpit, but that's dry fit, I'm pretty sure that'll loosen once in the water. For the exceptionally low price, the quality is adequate.
