Great looking watch that goes well for sports and day use. The watch face and elegant and simple and love the strap that feels comfortable with sweaty days. The only regret is the box that it comes in and wish it was a little more fashionable like to watch itself.

The Men's Nylon Slip Strap Military Watch (black) was purchased as a replacement for a broken everyday wrist watch. Comments following review and short use period: 1. Watch has a large (not huge) 1.5" dial, large 12 and small 24 hour numbers with minute indexes, hour/minute/second hands, mechanical day/date field, a matte metal frame, and easy to adjust nylon band with metal buckle/keepers. 2. Very light in weight which drives a question of quality, but does appear to be well manufactured from good materials - no sharp or malformed edges/seams, crisp dial lettering, rigid crystal, and pressed on rear cover. 3. All functions were tested/set and simple to manipulate - note movement during setting was not smooth and indicates a lesser quality internal build. 4. Accuracy was tested over a 48 hour period with no loss/gain of time. A longer test duration is needed for accuracy validation, but this short test is a very positive indicator. 5. Number/index luminosity was tested and failed the longevity test, only lasting approximately 1/2 hour. 6. Water resistance was not tested but probably will be, unintentionally. 7. Very attractive and feels good on the wrist. Form and Fit of the watch are Good with Function being average due to movement and luminosity issues. This is a decent looking watch. However, it has some issues which make it look cheap. First of all, the day wheel is made from a cheap plastic which is of a different material from the date wheel, and the contrast between the two makes for an inexpensive look. If I had to guess, this has a Chinese movement and not a very good one at that. Also the loops on Nato the strap are very thin and the tang of the buckle is pressed. On better quality straps you would find thicker loops and a milled tang. Also the finishing on the nylon isn’t up to par with sharp edges and sharp (melted) threads. Despite these faults, the watch presents well, although I would have preferred a smooth bezel. The cream colored dial works well with the black case and dark green strap. The lume is weak at best. This was $24 but save your money. I think this is worth $15. ... show more

Good bang for the buck! Highly visible and readable dial, precise markings, durable enough for every day wear. Luminous paint leaves something to be desired, but this is fairly typical of most low or moderately priced watches. The "seconds" hand is barely visible due to it being black and blends in with the black dial. It should have been either in red or green to stand out...at least have part of the hand non black. The Quartz movement seems to be imprecise and the crown is very loose while setting the hands and date. Issue with day/date...seems to be stuck on "THURS" Other than that, it is a okay watch. ... show more

Not sure if the instructions are poor or if the watch I have is broken. No way to set the day and date. Can set the time just fine. The watch over all seems to be made well, good band and buckles. The watch itself looks great and feels great and has a very classic look to it. Just annoying that I can't seem to set the day and date. ... show more
