Coming from a watch collector. This time piece didn’t surprise me in any special way. It didn’t jump out of the box with an explosion of beauty and class.. BUT, this watch, has 0 complaints. It may not be the flashiest, super classy, but this watch is a solid piece. Starting with the case, it’s a shiny alloy of sorts, not stainless steel. Very comfortable on the wrist, chronograph pushers don’t jab into the hand when bending the wrist. The black bezel around the case is basic. Serves no true purpose as the chronograph does not use the main second hand, rendering the Tachymeter useless. The dial, my god is that a beautiful Tiffany Blue. It shines like no other. Its such a light sky blue with the white hue just begging to shine through the blue, but the blue is holding strong. The date window is simply gorgeous. Very nicely carved out of the dial, very clean, very readable. The top right sub dial reads current hours in 24hr format. The chronograph is sub par. It uses the bottom subdial to run seconds, while the top left subdial counts minutes. The strap is a very tough, ridged, faux leather. It will take time to work it in, and get it to form around the wrist better. Overall, this watch would benefit the consumer being a tad bit cheaper. If they used a proper chronograph movement they could bump the price up a bit and it would be worth it. Currently how it is, I wouldn’t want to pay over $35 after tax. I paid $68CAD Overall score 6/10

Arrived quickly on 10/17/22... It is a 1/20 second to 1 hour range chronograph. I bought the metal band version with black dial. The band is a solid links deployment design but does not include length micro adjustment holes in the buckle assembly so I adjusted it a tad loose on my wrist. As received the chronograph hands were not zeroed and I had to follow the zeroing procedure in the minimal manual included. Until that was done the chronograph function did not work correctly. Working fine now. This is a fairly large watch, listed as 45mm diameter. I measured the bezel as 44.7mm and the body at 45.6mm with a digital caliper. Size does not include the crown and chronograph buttons. Body to top of chronograph button is very close to 50mm. Weight after band adjustment is 5.4 ounces. I am amazed that such a overall good looking and solid feeling watch can be made for the price offered on Amazon, and multiple people are still making a profit. Based on the box markings language and listed address I presume that Benyar may be a Germany based company. The Sapphero gold and black watch version arrived 10/19/22 and is virtually identical to the Benyar except that it is rated for 100 meters water resistance and has diver style markings on the bezel. The inner bezel area between the crystal and watch face has tachometer markings. Non functional markings on the outer bezel as it does not rotate as needed for a true diving watch. The gold color is kind of mid way between yellow gold and rose gold to my eyes.

Like others have said, it’s a beautiful watch, looks way more elegant (and even expensive) than we thought! My fiancé isn’t very materialistic and loses/scratches watches easily, so I got him this last Christmas as a present that if lost/scratched, wouldn’t hurt the wallet. We were both very pleasantly surprised by not only how elegant this looks, but also that it’s more durable than we thought it would be, and he’s gotten tons of compliments on it. Would definitely buy again!

I'm a 58 yr old Florida house painter. I've worn my Benyar watch daily since I bought it 1.5 years ago. Mine is black face with gold accent, which looks more like copper, but I like that since gold might look too gaudy, in my opinion. Brown leather band. This watch gets rinsed with a garden hose or faucet many times each day, and is still ticking without any fogging or condensation. I don't submerge it or shower with it however, nor do I wear it to the beach, due to the low water resistance rating. The night glo feature is visible for about 4 to 5 hours, at least, which I thought would be annoyingly short but turns out it's rarely a problem, although I do wish it was brighter so it would be easier/quicker for my eyes to adjust...I've worn it sleeping and could still see the glow until it was almost dawn. The two little straps that hold the overlapping band... one of them is looking pretty thin and ragged and it might break soon, but the other one is not as bad and will last quite a bit longer. I've used the timer several times just to see if it worked and it seemed to be consistently accurate. On and noticed that two of the three dials zeroed when i pushed the reset. The battery is still going despite that use., the original battery from purchase. My band has paint on it from work and I would like to replace just the band, but the watches are inexpensive so I'm buying another black one and also a white one. I think bands are standard sizes and so I will replace it another day with something cool. In summary, everything about this watch has exceeded my expectations, and it's still working the way it should, and still looking good too. I'm buying two more when I'm done with this review!
