They're better than I expected. They fit well (XL for 6' 200lbs male) and have a drawstring. I didn't notice any frayed strings or tears or anything like that. For the price, they're a great find considering you get 5 of them for the same price as one (or maybe 2) pair(s) of Nike shorts, but do keep in mind that the quality is what you would expect from a $7 pair of shorts. It's not the greatest material, but if you're just looking for basketball shorts to lounge around, or sleep, or head to the corner store real quick, these will do the trick. I bought these because my OB told me to wear loose clothing. One being basketball shorts. They are really long but they're so comfy!! Not a bad price either. Pockets could be a bit more deep for how long they are though. Changing my review!! One of the shorts has a GIANT hole in it! And the pair I'm now wearing has a giant hole in the pocket. I was very impressed on this one. Each one of the five I purchased, was perfect. No defects whatsoever, which unfortunately was my expectation given the price. What a very pleasant surprise! The stitching is good, the waistband is elastic enough and certainly not airtight as in other similarly-priced options. The fabric is good-enough quality to use and not worry about fraying or distorting. The design may be a bit on the flared side of things but, it certainly accommodates the thicker legs of let's say someone who works out often or is just plain huskier than I. Very impressed. I generally leave 4 or 5 star reviews. This is a vary rare occasion for me to leave a 3 star review, but I have to share my experiences. First, the pockets are stupid tiny! I have a wallet, keys, and my cell phone that need to fit in them. There is barely any room. Also the pockets feel like they are facing toward your but, and not the front side of your hips. They are very uncomfortable. That's probably my biggest gripe. Thank goodness that I read the reviews prior to purchasing. I am used to Walmart and other merchants who sell similar mesh shorts. I usually wear a size large. However, with these shorts I needed to wear size 2x. I'm 6'2" tall and weigh 280 pounds. If I had just ordered what I "thought" I needed, then I would have gotten a large, and they never would have fit. The pull strings are really short. I have to fish the strings thorough the waste band each time I wash them and put them on. Yes I do tie them, so they don't happen to just come down. Finally, I didn't think I would mind them being longer... well, I don't like the length at all. I'm not knocking the rating down because I knew ahead of time. These things come down below my knees. Not my favorite at all. That said, I wear them around the house, they are reasonably comfortable. You can freeball all you want in them, they are not see-thru. And having a set of 5 is really nice for summer time. It's starting to get hot and these are a great way to keep cool. ... show more
