Works well! Worth the expense imo. Very snug at first, but that’s by design. I have that proverbial dad bod and the XXL was spot on for me (5’10” 200lbs with approx 45” chest). The neoprene does expand after it gets wet, and the fit was very comfortable for paddling and mounting my board. It is not USCG certified but it floats well nonetheless. Good coverage too. I bought the XL due to the other reviews saying it runs small. Well, it runs smaller than even they said. If I tug on the two zipper bottoms, and pull like crazy, I can get the zippers together and the stretchiness will allow it to close. Once it is on it is really tight but comfortable. I am just not sure I want to be the sausage in this casing? I then went back to the order (here on Amazon) and looked at the fit info. Says the XL is for a person with a 48-50 inch chest. I measured my chest cuz its been a while; turns out my chest is 40 inches with a 34 inch waist. I guess I can go up a size but a XXL seems silly for someone 5'8" that wears a 40-regular in a suit jacket. I have an O'Neil coming next week and will choose the one that is most comfortable, or go up a size. I bought this to protect my ribs from foil hits during wing-foiling. Product is not a life vest. Low functionality. Fits great. Made in China. Made to look like it’s made in Minnesota. If they’re charging $170 for an item, one would think they could actually make it American and make it functional, but I guess not. Extremely poor quality stitching for the price as well and country of origin. Also. Won’t work if pulled over by a cop and inspected.
