Ok we have all seen the ads. I always said I wouldn’t pay that much for shorts or pants. I now would they really are amazing, soft comfortable, and the fit is great. I have washed them many times because I’ve been living in them. They hold up great, these are a definite for traveling.

Got my normal size, and they a smidge small. They're very stretchy though, and the still fit, but its snug (not tight). I do NOT understand the liner. It just feels like I'm wearing 3 layers (including my boxers). Am I supposed to go commando while wearing these? So weird. I love the Birddogs brand - they make great shorts. I usually have issues finding shorts that fit my relatively thick legs, but these are spot on. I got mine in dark blue with a fluorescent yellow liner that strikes a nice contrast. They're really stretchy, so much that I can wear them to the gym for leg day - but they're casual enough to just wear around town, too. These shorts are really nice. They fit comfortably and it is very easy to move around in them. The built-in liner is a nice touch and something you normally don't see in shorts like these. The legs run a bit shorter than some other pairs of shorts, but this is by design - I guess this is what is "in" now. The waistband is sufficiently strong to make belts unnecessary, but you could still wear a belt if you wanted to. I'm really looking forward to wearing them this summer - these are the type of shorts I would wear for a day out on my boat and then a waterfront dinner afterward. ... show more

They fit as expected. The liner is really comfortable and almost feels like it's not even there. The stretch is nice. Pockets have good depth and are usable. They washed and dried well on normal cycles. Overall nice comfortable shorts for lounging or hanging out.

This material is so light and stretchy yet the fabric feels substantial and sturdy. I love all the pockets. I typically wear size medium (on the larger side of medium), but based on the size chart, I went with large, and that was a good choice. They fit great and are good length, but I do wish the inner boxer briefs were just a bit shorter so they weren't so easily seen when the shorts ride up. If it wasn't for the elastic waistband, these would look more formal and dressy, but they also work great as unashamed casual shorts.
