This was a great purchase!!! My husbands hair grows so fast and he was just done with it. Since we still don’t feel comfortable going to the salon I bit the bullet and bought this one because the reviews were great! It did not disappoint. Easy to use and even came within a hair cutting guide that was pretty helpful, though I also YouTubed some videos to see it all in action. It came with everything listed plus a little tube of oil so I didn’t have to bust out the new one I bought if the whole operation was bust. But I managed to do my husbands so easily that my 5 year old let me do his with minimal fuss! The guards were easy to change and the cord was long enough to allow me to do what I needed. There was no yanking or pulling and the hair cut easily. The comb and the scissors were great too! Worked perfectly though the scissors may not last too long. I could take or leave the cape but that’s not why I bought the set so I just see it as a bonus. And I love that it all fits in the case it comes in. Very compact. This trimmer is great. I got this because in quarantine, I started cutting my son's hair. I already have an oster and andis that I use on myself, but with the cords on both, it was getting difficult to manage on a toddler who won't stop moving. With this, being cordless, it's great because it gives you better control and get the job done faster. Speed is key when working on toddlers. Batter has been great so far. I have used this on myself, my son and my dad and I haven't had to charge it yet. I have been using it with the charge it came with out of the box. Seemed like a great product when I got it, but there is definitely a defect with the battery - it won’t recharge. I initially was quite happy with the purchase until the battery ran down and I went to recharge it using the cable they provided. I plugged it in and after several hours the charge indicator was still on (left the picture to show this indicator light) which is when I began to worry, so I left it plugged in for about a day and a half hoping that it would come back to life. I was wrong, it still showed the charging light, so I unplugged it and tried turning it on and it just struggled just like before I plugged it in.     • Mediocre motor....
I’ve had this clipper for about a month now. At first I thought it was great then, reality set in. This is not a cheaper version of a top notch clipper. I got it because I could not get a replacement blade for my Wahl clipper during COVID. This clipper cut wonderfully for about 2 trims, then the motor begins to give out. It won’t get a full charge and even though the blades are still sharp, because the motor is dying it pulls hair and catches skin. Had the motor been good, this would have been a great clipper. I’m not saying it would last years but for the $25.00 I paid, I would have gotten a years worth of cuts. Now, it’s a one month and done. I’ve always used trimmers on myself but I usually buy really cheap ones that don’t last. This trimmer has a good weight to it and trims very precisely. What I like a lot is the potential money savings this offers. I looked up how to cut a kids hair and it’s not complicated. I am going to save hundreds of dollars just by cutting my sons hair in the kitchen, instead of paying for hair cuts all year. This trimmer is easy to use and comes with plenty of different depth attachments. I also like that I can charge it with a usb plug. That is huge. Since the COVID-19 pandemic....barber shops are closed.....hair was getting 'Chewie'-like! So was looking at reviews and saw these clippers, and Boy are these clippers GREAT!! My teen-age daughter is cutting my hair and she seems comfortable with them. The clippers come with a set of different depths to cut hair.....short-short (the way I like it) [1mm short] to a little more depth of hair. Has a brush to clean your clippers, after use. The ONLY short fall......No Cord to RECHARGE??!!!? There is NO Power Cord to charge the clippers, but it does take a USB cord, my daughter has Plenty of those. And as far as battery charge, well I have use these three (3) times, since purchase (cut hair every month) and this last time seemed a little weaker since last use, but still cuts well. As far as sharpness, blades are still pretty clean, and Sharp!! ... show more

    • Spend a Little More and Get a Better Product
I purchased these clippers to cut my 4 year old son’s hair. They worked great for the first 3 uses or so but on Christmas morning, as I was finishing up, they snagged and completely stopped working. They were kept clean and oiled properly so there was nothing that I could see that caused this. My son’s hair looked terrible for Christmas because I was still finishing it up when the clippers quit and everything was closed. My only saving grace was that he’s 4 and couldn’t care less about his hair right now. I definitely wouldn’t buy these again. It’s worth the extra money to buy some quality clippers. ... show more
