These are the first left-handed scissors I’ve ever had, and I’ve been around awhile! Why did I wait so long to get a pair? I bought new right-handed hair cutting scissors just last year. Why I did not get left-handed ones then I do not know. But I totally love these. I’ve been cutting my hair since before the pandemic hit and it got trendy to cut your own hair. To my surprise, these left handed scissors do a noticeably better job cutting my bangs than right handed ones. They are wonderfully sharp. I keep my hair just about earlobe length, and I love the smaller 5.5” size. They’re lightweight and easier to control than longer scissors for more precise cutting and small enough to trim my eyebrows and a few nose hairs. I have thicker fingers (wear a size 9 wedding band) and the scissor holes fit just fine. I am totally happy with this purchase. Wish I’d bought them years ago!

I already had these in a right-handed version so when my daughter needed a left-hand set it was a no-brainer. Cheap shears are usually stamped steel that are too light and have a lot of flex. Better shears are cast steel with machining to clean up the blades and joints, but are often rushed and sloppy. These shears have clean, smooth lines and the blades and joint are well-machined. Overall the scissors have good balance and so far they hold a sharp edge very well. This is one of those things you should spend a few more bucks to get and feel the difference each time you pick them up. I love them.

I cut men’s hair with these shears. I know good shears from junk ones due to my many years in the dog grooming business . You usual get what you pay for, but this time I didn't have to spend $300 plus. They are good shears. Trust me. Remember: do NOT drop any pair of shears and never use them to cut anything other than hair, and make sure to use the tool to tighten the shears that come with these shears. If you tighten them correctly they will not be stiff to use, but tight enough to cut smoothly. Yes, buy these shears. For the price I know you will be pleased.
