No deception here - this is a good quality display head made of cloth-covered cork, with a solid wooden base that screws together. It's a huge upgrade from my stupid black velvet 3 dollar styrofoam head that is all dusty and dented from normal use (I run an etsy shop that sells vintage clothing).
