Smells great and works awesomely for getting those heavy products OUT of your hair. The inevitable downside is that it also removes all of your hair's natural (healthy) oils. I recommend using this in rotation with another, more gentle shampoo; I would NOT use this product every day unless you use heavy product …every day. Also make sure that you condition your hair after using this product. TIP: I've found that using this shampoo at night, followed by a light, leave-in conditioner, makes styling much easier in the morning. I use American Crew daily moisturizing shampoo as well as their grooming spray. I wanted to try this product to see if it made my hair feel cleaner and lighter after washing and it definitely does. This product removes any residual hair spray, gel, etc from your hair. It has a different scent than the daily shampoo so keep that in mind. It doesn't smell as good, more of a chemical scent. I use the power cleanser a few times a week and I'm happy with it. That being said I don't think I'll purchase it again, I'll just lather, rinse and repeat with the daily shampoo as I prefer the scent. ... show more

I have really long fine hair. It tends to get a bit greasy on the top at times. This stuff really gets everything out of your hair. I tend to use it about 2 times a week. It may smell a bit manly but that doesn't last for long and the results are to good for me to really mind. Id recommend it for anyone with styling build up or oily hair.
