Overall shorts fit pretty well. The material is soft and pretty thick. You can't see through them and there is pockets as well. Nice set of shorts.

These came true to color as advertised. The material is soft and lightweight. I went with the medium and it has the perfect length I wanted. The hidden drawstring in the waist is great, so I can adjust them as needed. I washed them on gentle and they have held up well so far.

These are great shorts. Super comfortable. Good length. Fits as it should for it's size. High quality material. The downside are the pockets, which is why they didn't get 5 stars. The pockets are a little more towards the front than usual, so things in your pockets slap your thighs, and the pockets are a little shallow, so when sitting a phone/wallet can easily fall out. ... show more

I had 4 pairs of Southpole shorts I bought 3 months ago. They were terrible, poorly made shorts. Loose threads and an inner liner that kept separating at he seams. Finally I stepped into a pair the other day and my toe caught a loose thread of the liner and tore the liner beyond repair. I then came to Amazon...again, looking for replacement shorts. I came upon these Brooklyn Jax. The price for 5 pairs is less than half what I paid for the SP and right out of the package they fit better. They are smaller than the SP for the same size. I don't know if that means these run small or the SP run big but these fit perfect and I don't have to stop every 10 steps to pull them up. There is no useless inner lining and the colors that I got all match the shirts I had with the SP shorts. So far I am very happy with these Brooklyn Jax shorts ... show more

I am so tired of ordering stuff that is not sized right, I am a big girl and its so upsetting that when I order something and it no were fits as it should, I gave it 2 stars only because they are made nice, I am not going to call and comeplane cuz it is to complicated with returning it instead ill be giving them away, this is so upsetting they are sapose to be a 4xl but fit more like a 2xl ... show more

    • Decent shorts once you figure out which style they are

I am a big girl so I bought the 3x ones and they fit great I like them a lot. Only complaint I have is on the description itself. You have to pay attention to which color set you buy. I have bought 3 sets and returned one. There is a mesh style and regular (I dont know fabric so I couldn't tell you but its stretchy unlike mesh) so I originally got "Set 6" which were the normal fabric and I loved everyone of them. Then I bought "Set 8" which was the mesh style and they do not fit the same, they fit smaller and do not stretch at all like the others so I returned that one. Then I bought "Set 4" which was the normal style as well. Only complaint I have with it is the pocket is stitched improperly on one of them so there isnt a left pocket which is disappointing cause red Is my favorite color Leads me to believe "set 3" would be mesh since it's the same style. Just wanted to give a heads up because when I was looking through them I couldnt figure out which was which and nothing says which is which. The stitching is coming apart a little bit but for the price I kind of understand. ... show more
