Soft with stretch. A typical cotton polyester blend. Runs SMALL. Even with using the size chart. Fitted for hourglass shaped women. (Small waist, thicker thighs and butt) While they still fit me, and are very comfortable, they fit like a pair of tights,leggings, very fitted short boxer briefs and are snug. I like them enough to keep them as sleep pajama shorts. Don't buy the set with the purple if you want purple, it's more of a burgundy, or mauve, or something. The pic shows the "dark purple" shorts next to a purple shirt. Otherwise they're comfy and as expected.

Super comfy and cute for the price. They pair well with all my old random tshirts. They don’t have pockets but they are more fitted. If you’re between two sizes, size up unless you like snug (I do).
