The hood is streamlined for maximum peripheral vision, and the built-in mask can be deployed when the hood is on for enhanced concealment. The integrated hand muff and flip-over hand mitts in the sleeves keep your fingers warm and ready. Traditional outerwear isn't as silent as advertised and lacks technical and intuitive hunting features. Our approach was to build a comfort stretch fleece insulation piece that could be versatile enough to be worn as outerwear in early season or layered into a system for all seasons. A half-zip construction allows room for the built-in hand muff, and integrated flip-over hand mitts keep fingers warm and agile for the moment of truth.

Worth the money. Built in facemask is a plus especially now a days. Had a just a short sleeve t-shirt underneath and this hoody kept me nice in 50-60 degree weather. Fit is very close to the skin. I'm not a hunter but with the features this hoodie offers it's definitely worth the 200$ price tag. Thumbholes positioned to provide sleve coverage up to the finger tips and built in mittens are nice to have for extreme cold when you forgot your gloves. Seems like a lot of thought went into the design of this hoody and it would be tough to find something similar. ... show more

Good insulation piece when layered or used properly. It fits a little snug, but if you are wearing something over it, thats what you want. The sleeves are held in place with the thumb holes and the finger mittens are a great feature and why I decided to buy this piece. When you get this item its very thin. You question what you just spent so much money on. The built in face mask and hood are extremely nice and add a sense of warmth to the product. I will most likely wear it every time I hunt for the face mask and hood. 50f and 9mph wind I wore the lightweight baselayers, this hoody and celcious midi jacket and was perfect. On its own, I think I would have been cold sitting for any extended period of time. ... show more

Warm. Great for hunting from a blind. I like the built in face mask. I don’t know why they used grey trim on the hood. It does actually outlines the face somewhat making the human form more noticeable. The glove/mitt thing is ok but kind of a gimmick and adds a lot of bulk to the sleeve that just is annoying. Like many other I was skeptical of the long sleeves/mitten things. However I recently did a 5 day 40 mile trip in January along the Rogue River in Oregon. I used this hoodie to sleep in and was damn glad to have the long sleeve and mitten function when it got below freezing. It’s moderately warm and seems breathable. With the sleeves around your wrist as if it were a traditional hoodie it doesn’t feel bunched up like I thought it would. I ordered an XL and it was slightly baggy 5’10” 230 lbs, in hindsight I would have just gone with a large, no need to size up if your base layers are only thermals and a tee. The face mask feature has come in handy both to stay a little warmer and if you forget a regular mask for covid, when not needed it tucks away unnoticed in the hood. The hood fits nice especially with a hat on, it keeps you covered and allows peripheral vision ... show more
