This should be perfect. Haven't tried it yet but can't see why it's not gonna work. Seems sturdy enough, all the parts were there. Includes the tools. For the lower tilt section, it has a optional rest so the computer doesn't slide off. I think that would get in the way with the wakum tablet so I just screwed it to the bottom of the table, in case I use the table for something else in the future. But for now the tablet will be on the lower section so I won't need the stop and the laptop will be on the top section. I turned thec top section opposite of the way they recommended because there way the top section would overhang the bottom section. You can see in the pictures it works way this way and I think it will be better to do my Photoshop and Lightroom work. ... show more

When I opened the box I discovered one of the legs had been manufactured backwards: the bar where the bottom shelf attaches has its holes in the wrong side compared to where the desk top parts get inserted. It's not a big problem as I rotated the leg so that I could attach the bottom shelf properly. The top of the desk now must sit about 2" higher than otherwise due to the misaligned legs. (Normally the front of the desk should be supported by two shorter legs and the back by two taller legs. Each side of my desk is now supported by one short and one tall leg.) The build quality actually seems decent considering the metal parts are only joined by tack welds. It was easy to put together, though I had to use my own screwdriver as the one that ships with the desk is terrible. I think they may have redesigned the instructions as I had no issue with them as other reviews have mentioned. They even included one extra screw of each type. ... show more

This desk came quickly and was easy to assemble. It works great for the most part, with a couple of exceptions. If the rear platform was able to raise 2-3 inches more, we would not need a book to raise the monitor to a comfortable height for a 5'4" person. Also, we do not use it for a laptop and do not tilt the keyboard platform so the holes in the platform to hold something in place when the platform is tilted are unnecessary, and the plastic insert for this platform is uncomfortable when using a keyboard. Update: Seller contacted me a few months ago inquiring if there's anything they can do to make things right. It is still just as strong and sturdy as it was over a year ago. I roll it around quite a bit and it handles movement well. It is wide but I'm fortunate to have wide doorways in my apartment. The shelves are strong. I have my tower + a box weighing about 20lbs sitting on the bottom for over a year now, monitor and peripherals on the top shelf, and keyboard/mouse where they should be. As such, if I didn't want to deal with the hassle of return back then, then I most certainly wouldn't want to now. They want me to improve my rating. I don't blame them for asking nor do I mind doing so if it's deserved. That said, the customer service now is great. It's unfortunate that this happened about year prior to anyone reaching out but I genuinely believe it's better late than never. Mostly because my concern is that this doesn't happen again. We live busy lives and we shop this way as a result. To then have to hunt down replacement screws to substitute when theirs are proprietary while some of us may not even live near a hardware store makes this purchase a real pain. For that reason I cannot give it a 5 star rating. But because they are diligently trying to make it right and have offered a partial refund I'm happy to change my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Do I think every unit packaged is missing parts? No. But if you're one of the select few it ultimately doesn't feel worth it so that was a concern I asked them about and this is the response I received: "Improving quality control has always been a priority for us. We have taken the following concrete measures: Before each shipment, a third-party agency will be asked to conduct a random inspection of the goods, and the defective products detected by the sampling will be corrected by the factory on the spot, and if the defect rate exceeds 5%, then the goods will be returned to the factory. In addition, we do not only cooperate with one factory, if the factory always fails to pass the random inspection of goods, then we will consider terminating the cooperation with this factory and find a factory that can produce quality products. In a word, we must ensure that the quality of our products meets consumer expectations. If a customer receives a defective product, we will do our best to solve the problem and make the customer satisfied." Overall, it's a fantastic product. No complaints at all about the product because these were parts that I was able to substitute. But an oversight could occur for something that is not so easy (ha!) to substitute. Original: Great desk. Very sturdy and pretty easy to put together for this little lady. But it is a bulky item so to unpack it and discover 4 screws missing (2ea in two different sizes) made the prospect of returning it less favorable than driving all the way to Home Depot. However, their screws are unique. So while I was able to get the right sizes, there were differences in threading that was a concern and then the aesthetic aspect of mismatched heads. I took my chances and purchased them anyway. The threading discrepancy turned out to be a non issue and since I hadn't yet begun assembly I did my best to hide the pairs that didn't match the manufacturer's screws. All in all it turned out great. Great product but I docked stars because I think it's important to check quality. These little oversights for the manufacturer are a huge pain in the ass for the consumer. Please talk to your manufacturer about their quality control. ... show more
