I'm 6'2 240 lb with a 53-in chest and the shoulder straps or so damn long that I've shortened them to their maximum and the thing still is loose the I will have to custom shorten the straps to fit properly the other thing I have a problem with is that whatever type padding they put into this will give your position away from 3 miles off with the squeaking it does it's like some old biker and a leather suit that ain't put no grease on it in 40 years every move he makes squeaks it's like a bunch of mice in the field so beware of that but other than that they're not too scabby I hope this helps. It's a good thing that I'm not out in the bush with this stuff because I would have to totally disassemble the straps and remove whatever padding they've stuck in there and replace it with something that doesn't make noise like a rattling chain on the Dead but other than that I guess they'd be all right if you weren't creeping on anything they should work great

I work armed security at a school. Was tired of just wearing my duty belt. These suspenders work great! Very comfortable. Keeps my duty belt exactly where I want it. As you can see in my picture I have about 4-5lbs of gear that it supports. I will say it's not for big people. I'm 5'11 and 260 and I have the size all but maxed out. But still works great.

PRO: 1. Universal fit and finish. 2. Black allows it to hide dirt well. 3. Lots of options to choose from how you want to set-this up, i.e. hook things or pouches to it, etc. CON: 1. Rides on your upper back a bit, wants to roll forward at first, so I think I'll have to work on adjusting that a bit, by shift some weight. 2. The cross latch, i.e. across the chest, only tightens so much, so it's kind of useless to me. I may cut it down a bit, if I can jerry rig that. OTHER: Buy this instead of the VERY EXPENSIVE Cotton Carrier system, that uses plastics.
