Better than the stock case and you can fit a 20000mAh battery and ear buds inside. There is also slots for memory cards. Decent amount of padding. Could probably drop it off a roof and the deck would be fine.

Decent case, construction feels solid. Its a little bit loose on the naked SteamDeck but is too small too carry a Deck that has a hard cover installed already, so you have to choose either or. I chose my hard cover ultimately because it protects the device while I'm using it as well as in storage.

This is a great little form-fitting case for the Steam Deck or Steam Deck OLED, with a little bit of extra room to fit in a couple SD cards or some earbuds. The case itself is a good mix of hard and soft - it's supportive and has enough structure to keep its safe empty thanks to the hard plastic EVA inner layer, while the outside is water resistant and the inside is soft and padded to keep your Steam Deck safe from bumps and scratches. It's lightweight, less than a pound, and it perfectly fits the Steam Deck with supportive pockets for all the analog sticks and buttons. It has two zippers that make it easy to open and close the case, and the exterior being water resistant is a nice touch because it lets water roll off the case instead of getting absorbed. There's a little miniature fold-up thing that's got room for a couple of SD cards or some earbuds in it, and it folds up easily enough when the case is closed. There's a handle that you can carry the case with easily, and it's easy to pick up and go with the Steam Deck in it. As far as downsides go, the only criticism I can find is that I personally would have enjoyed having a bit more space in the case. If it were larger by a fair bit, there'd be room for a charger, battery pack, dock, and more; as it is there's only room for a charger or some other small things. That would also make this case much larger, though, so that's more of a personal preference on my part. * I only review things that I personally use myself and keep using. * I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. * I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. * I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, and everything in between. * If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. * And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

So I should start this by mentioning i have two cases from steam already, the official cases. After getting this one I prefer to use it because it offers a few more enjoyment The way its setup is actually really smart. You have your fold acknowledge where you can a few different things in the pockets, then you have a deep enough space where you can add a smaller powerbank, or something of similar size. Once your set you just place your steam deck on top and the mold comes down perfectly fitting your steam deck to treat it nicely while its in your case. This case takes good care of your baby. The only thing you need to know, difference wise from the official case, is this is a softer case so if you chucked it its not built for that. This will probably withstand regular drops just fine, but it is not a hardcase. I use this case more often cause it affords me much better carry ability of the steam deck and what id use with it. Plus it feels like it cares for my steam deck better. In the official case I feel like the steam deck moves a bit so it can get dust or whatever from the inner material on it, especially the screen. I noticed this for a long time using mine, where id constantly have to use the micro cloth. I dont have to do that as much with this case. I genuinely feel this case takes much better care of my baby I say that because if youve spent a ton of money on your steam deck, you better believe you want it taken care of Highly recommend, if this is affordable to you id recommend getting it to try out for yourself
