The media could not be loaded. Really was so excited to love this. Do not buy this efile. I had a terrible experience with Melodysusie as I am convinced after Amazon replaced the first defective product which jammed over and over due to the metallic locking mechanism having serious design flaws. First, I initially thought that they were not made to last long term use because when I test ran it the first week, upon first use the lock/unlock for the drill bits were tough to twist & those with soft hands will have a tough time gripping it to twist left and right when you pause to switch bits. Regardless, I figured maybe it’ll break in and is just new, but after a week’s use the arrow where you line it up for lock/unlock doesn’t properly align, or when you have the machine on high at 2200 rpm the vibration slowly shifts the arrow and it eventually gets jammed in the center - then you’re in serious trouble as it gets harder and harder to switch bits easily. It’s upsetting because I wanted to love this drill. They have so many similar pen type models yet this was so easy to have for a portable kit and a minimal set up. However, when Amazon replaced what I thought was a manufacturing defect, the 2nd drill did the exact same thing within a month of use. Although now it’s too late and this is now junk paperweight. It turns on if I manually keep it twisted to lock but it still moves to the center, and it does not unlock enough to put new bits in. I had to wrap this thing in a towel just to get a pair of adjustable pliers to get it to unlock long enough to pull out my bit. It is a nuisance & worked great if only they designed this part differently— I hope Melodysusie can try to resolve this as I do think they try to be inclusive for those conscious consumers looking for Hema TPO HPMA free options as there are tons of health risks associated with some of these harmful cheaper quality gels so I truly thought they would have had a reliable and trustworthy efile pen as well. Boy was I wrong! Literally destroyed and chaffed my fingers trying to turn the lock/unlock mechanism for hours but it’s just jammed & there’s no way to open it and adjust whatever is jamming itself up inside. Big Assembly/ Manufacturing Problem. Also battery life on this is just okay & wish for a battery solution that actually keeps these lil machines going for some all day press on art girls craft night mode. Like you eventually would need to make plug this into a power charger which beats the whole point of a cordless e-file pen & like why so many variations and models of these pens from $19-60 - when they can just focus on proper design.

This product was definitely a disappointment for me. The power or motor is quite weak, I was going at least 5000 rpm over what I normally do on my corded drill and it was still not powerful enough to do a comparable job. Hard gel removal was not only slower because of the lacking power, but also interrupted because the pen kept pausing and/or shutting down when it couldn't handle the density of product. The battery was lacking too, I got maybe an hour of use before it required charging. Otherwise, the product looked sleek, was easy to hold and it was easy to change bits. I was also impressed with the quality of the bits that it did come with, they may not be bits I would gravitate towards often, but their quality is not in question. The only people I would recommend this product to is people who want a drill for personal use and only use soft gel products or want it for cuticle care.
