I’m super impressed with the quality of this frame. I was hesitant to buy it because it doesn’t have a headboard but I’m so glad I did. As you can see, this solid wood frame is sitting on my bare wood floor and it does. not. move. -There are optional rubber bottoms to stick on the bottom of the legs as well as the center supports which keep the frame from sliding on the floor. -The slats are Velcrod to the frame to keep them in place. -The mattress does not slide on the slats thanks to the adhesive. Other pros: - Even the tool they sent is superior quality to anything else I’ve ever had to put together -Minimal pieces which make initial assembly easy (took me 30 minutes alone) and if you move a ton like I have it’ll be easy to disassemble/reassemble TLDR; the frame and mattress are built into one solid piece. Great quality. BUY IT And for reference I’m 5-05; The frame is 16in and the mattress is 14in. It sits high which is what I wanted. ... show more

UPDATE: I’m taking it down to 1 star. I contacted the company about a warranty claim and never heard back. Now that the metal support post is bent, the bed wobbles all the time. It doesn’t stay put and scoots across the floor. It’s just about 1 year old and I know I need to replace it. I don’t think their advertised 5 year warranty is very valid. I wouldn’t suggest this for people with kids. Ours don’t jump on our bed, but they do have to hop up to get on it when they’re in our room. It’s caused the bed to scoot across our hard floor. Now the metal support legs in the middle of the floor are bent and have scratched into our hard flooring. We’ve had the frame for less than a year and consistently have trouble with screws being loose so the bed wobbles. When we tighten it back up, it helps, but who wants to crawl under your bed every other month because screws are loose? We have the king size. Our mattress is heavy, but well under the weight limit. My husband and I are not large people, either. I like the platform style and height. I’m giving 2 stars because maybe it would work better in homes without young children. For us, it hasn’t worked well and I’m frustrated our floor is now damaged, too. ... show more

9/19/25: I got the bed frame in black, queen size, 16 inches tall, and it’s perfect! Easy 10 step set up, and beautifully made. My bed mattress feels so much more stable and comfortable now with this strong and sturdy bed frame!! The height is a true 16 inches exact, my small 13 lb doggy is able to sleep under the bed with no problem and it’s enough space for storage. Also, it was packaged well and the bed frame pieces were protected entirely. A nice touch was that all the styrofoam was covered in a wrap to avoid styrofoam pieces from going everywhere. Never received the first order! I reached out to Amazon customer service, the were wonderful. The order was either not shipped or lost in shipping. Costomer service found the shipping label had been created, but never acknowledge by fedex, the shipper. Amazon ordered a replacement (at no expense to me) and it arrived in a couple days. Bed frame is solid, doesn't creek, squeak, or rub with " bedroom activities." It has high clearance for tons of storage underneath the bed. Lovely simple design and easy assembly. ... show more

I purchased a new mattress and failed to realize I would need a platform bed. I ordered this the night the mattress arrived and it was at my door the next morning! Wow! It was well packaged and the assembly was easy. I really liked the included ratchet allen wrench since it made the job go quicker. There were no damaged pieces and the bed feels very sturdy. I got the Cherry color and it goes well with my other bedroom furniture. A good value for the price I think. The 12" was out of stock so I ordered the 16" platform. In hindsight I'm glad I did because the cats can easily walk underneath it and I can see where they are. With the higher platform and a 12" mattress it does have me sleeping 28" above the floor and makes my nightstands appear short but overall I'm happy with my decision and the product. EDIT: I've had this bed a little less than a year and I noticed when I went to change the sheets today that the frame had some sway to it. So I got the ratchet allen wrench and tightened down all the bolts again. Some were quite lose! I'm the only one who sleeps in the bed (with a couple of cats) and I'm not heavy so I would recommend you keep an eye on the tightness of the frame to avert any problems. ... show more
