Our premium memory foam is infused with green tea known to help provide calming effects and may help with odor control to bring you refreshing sleep on a longer lasting mattress. Beneath our premium foam are individually encased pocket springs protected by additional foam encasing to give the mattress just the right amount of firm support. Foam encasing provides protective edge support so your pocket springs stand tall and strong for a longer mattress life. I was moving to a new city for grad school and needed a new mattress that wouldn't break the bank and that I wouldn't have to transport. I hate memory foam, so I knew I needed a hybrid mattress. Obviously, all the cheap mattresses had mixed reviews, so I was scared buying any bed in a box, but the "made in the USA" tag and good reviews sold me on this one. I LOVE IT, and I'm coming from sleeping on a $1200 mattress. It was easy to open with the special cutting tool and instructions that came with the mattress. It immediately inflated to about 80% thickness within the first 30 minutes, then filled out over the next few hours. I'm not sure if it was fully risen yet, but I opened it at 4 pm and slept on it that night with no complaints about smell/offgassing or comfort. As a memory foam hater, and it's such a good medium firm that I can't even tell it's memory foam (in a good way). It feels supportive to my lower back when I sleep on my back, yet soft enough when I sleep on my side. Sure, it sinks a little when I sit on the edge, but I can sit and put on my shoes without worrying I'm going to fall off. No squeaking so far (2 weeks in). I have one of those beds with bowed slats of wood that the mattress lays on top of. I bought a 14" foam mattress and could feel the wood slats underneath! This hybrid mattress absorbs all that and provides an even, comfortable sleeping surface. Not too soft, not too firm, just right - as promised.

I've never had a hybrid mattress before - or a memory foam. Wow... I've been missing out. This has such a great combination of support and comfort. It really feels like it is subtly molding to my body; it's not mushy or hard as a rock. It literally is "just right". I have no idea how it will hold up over time, but a few month's in now, and it feels as wonderful as the first time I stretched out on it. Highly recommend! ... show more
